  1. Wow, team Italy strikes again. Up 4-0 over a really good Dominican team early.
  2. I'm just hitting up games at Tempe Diablo this spring, but that covers 3 of them (Thurs, Fri and Sun).
  3. That means Boldin gets our other stud CB, the 6'4, physical Brandon Browner.
  4. That is awesome. I should be getting mine today or tomorrow.
  5. Wicked, use the mobile version on your tablet and phone if it's a pain. I use the full version on my tablet, but only mobile version on my Samsung Galaxy III even though it can handle the full version, just looks and flows better on the mobile version.
  6. I can't wait to see this. Our very own historical writer Rob Goldman played the first base coach in this movie. Looking forward to this. The preview looks great!
  7. Guys, give this one a listen to if you're into the modern day stats or you're old school wanting to learn about them. Robert teaches us about these new stats and how they pertain to the Angels hitters/pitchers.
  8. Agreed. He does so many things well, including short passes to him in the slot which he turns into HUGE gains. He's also an incredible change of space RB from the backfield, not to mention a deep threat.
  9. Tom, more on Blanton and the other starting staff on our podcast recorded tonight. Check that out!
  10. Love Auntchiladas, Cooperstown and late night fried food and beer at the Titled Kilt.
  11. Kazmir, on how he feels now compared to when he last pitched in the Angels organization: "Night-and-day difference. I'm just a completely different pitcher. I guess the velocity would be different by about 10 mph." You can't blame Butcher for this one. Like I said in another thread, Kazmir attributed his success back when he had his best seasons with the Rays to Mike Butcher too.
  12. WOW JUST SEEING THIS!! What a great deal for the Hawks. Rice is a good receiver, but he was double teamed a lot this past season, which led to Tate, Baldwin and our TE's seeing more receptions. Harvin, Rice, Baldwin and Tate, plus our solid TE's. Wow, look out!. .We're going to beat that SF 49er ass this season! I don't mind them giving up a 1st rounder this year since we're toward the end of the first round in the draft and the fact that Pete Carroll really maximized his 2012 picks resulting in 4 starters and 3 solid contributors to their 2012 success. From Rotoworld.com The Seahawks will open the season with 24-year-old Russell Wilson throwing to 27-year-old Sidney Rice, and 25-year-old Harvin and Golden Tate, with 27-year-old Marshawn Lynch in the backfield. Already one of the league's premier defensive teams, Seattle's offense now rivals any in football in terms of explosiveness and playmaking ability. We expect Harvin to lead Seattle in receiving.
  13. Boldin isn't that quick, he's just a big receiver. He won't get too many receptions if Sherman is covering him.
  14. I agree, but at least Hester's throws don't advance the runner two bases, just one.
  15. What a shitty stat, but I can guarantee you this, it won't be the reason Hester beats out Conger for the backup C job. Conger had the inside edge as backup C but has essentially (and literally) thrown his name out of the hat with his poor throws this spring.
  16. Kazmir was under Butcher when he led the AL in strikeouts with the Rays.
  17. Hanson's issue isn't his velocity, it's his command. He's leaving pitches up in the zone. Weaver FB works in the 88-91 range too. When Tommy first came up he was hitting 89-94 mph, but mostly working in the 89-91 range throughout his starts.
  18. Good! I'm sure hoping he resorts to his 2009-2011 form! If he does, look out!
  19. I really hope he makes the team! He's a helluva player and really underrated by so-called expert prospect outlets. .
  20. No clue Earlybird. My mods say they did not, but I alerted them to leave this thread alone going forward unless they're alerted by one of you guys that there's a problem.
  21. USA USA USA!!! Great comeback and really good insurance run there by Lucroy.
