I'm not sure this was covered or not but just in case you didn't know...it's not your money.

Keith Sharon made a predictiona couple days ago that the Angels would acquire another Front Line picther in two weeks...I'm inclined to believe him.

I don't understand what your point is and what it has to do with this thread.
It was in response to this:
"I am so glad that Trout did not get a ridiculous contract like Stanton is about to. I have no idea why owners are still okay with paying so much to one player."
-
Players should make as much as someone is willing to pay them. Do you want someone to tell you that you can only earn so much because a rule dictates it?

I know a team that tried it, with disastrous results once October hit. John Schuerholz brought back Terry Pendleton, Otis Nixon and Alejandro Pena after they were older (and less useful) after other teams dumped them because they had helped the Braves before. Nixon was the worst hitter in the National League in 1992, yet inexplicably he was at the plate with the Braves one out from losing the World Series to Toronto in Game 6. Predictably, Nixon made the last out of the series trying to bunt his way on.
You can't forget when the Halo's brought back Jim Abbot that had to be the worst....yet many people here still clamour for nostalgia.

I'd be happy if we could pull down Chase Headley. Guy is a good player. Also would anyone be interested in bringing Ervin back ? I would. I think we probably stay away from the big name guys.
Historically, I can't think of any team that has had success bringing back a player of marginally utility....let alone bringing back any former players...unless of course its is to retire their number.

He looks more like Mathis

Salas.is definitely helping us. Freeze was playing well. As much as i love Bourjos I would say we won the trade.this year. Also I have speculated Trout's agent probably insisted 9th his client playing CF before the extension
What I find amazing is that I never see you post anything unless it's negative about Bourjos. Despite being debated to death and many agreeing it's turning into a good trade you still have to take your cheap shot at Bourjos. Did he sleep with your wife or something?
I posted nothing negative. All I said is that we should have been able to win 103 games based on some of your WAR projections. 103 would be the best win total of any Angel Teams...it's a shame we won't be able to get there without him.
-
No way...he had a 4 war. So if that's the case we'd we be at 103 pace right now instead of 99
-
...how much better this team would be with Bourjos in our outfield? We'd be looking at 103+ wins right?

If you're going to drink the kool-aid at least do it while wearing Nike Cortez

I didn't read it nor did I delete it, but my guess is if it was deleted it deserved to be deleted. With the amount of garbage that is allowed to be left on here it was probably pretty bad, either that or Chuck did it . If that's the case then I guess it is what it is because it's his site and we are his guests.
Love the apathy.

maybe it deserved to be deleted.
It didn't violate the TOS so why was it deleted?

Deleting posts again? how grand

At the end of the day...its still cleveland...a city which hasn't won anything since 1948 and not really close to winning anything until 2048.
-
Bourjos is still the shit.
LuLz...love the euphemisms

This is more about the lack of Texas Pitching than it is about Pooka being a legitimate MLB pitcher.

He not only needs more AB'sHe needs to stay healthyHe needs to be more luckyHe needs a change of sceneryHe needs to pick up a new trade?

Looks alot like oforfourjos YTD line:

The Perils of Democracy...where only 20% of the electorate are educated enough to understand how public policy enough to make decisions on whether or not to implement public policy while the other 80% are pacified by a material world and lack of motivation to do anything to make it better.

When Hamilton & Calhoun come back...I would imagine that Cowgil will be gone before Stewart is.
