I was against letting Nevin go, tired of new managers every other year. I was against the hiring on Ron Washington thought he was too old for young players. Ron came in with the rah rah attitude I thought ok Ron. He has said from day one Angels are going to win. Only ST but you have to have that mind set if things are going to change. He also brings a work ethic to this team. Need to put work in to get better. Ron Washington will have back of players who are willing to work. This team (again only ST) reminds me of team of 1962. Bunch of no names that nobody expects much of them. I do not want to hear Mike Trout is not a no name. He is in the sense he has not played more than an average of 80 games for last 3 years. Mike Trout has to prove himself again. No name team as who is star starting pitcher and who is star in BP. In 1962 halos had young pitcher that year develop into a pretty decent pitcher. Dean Chance and just maybe this year Jose Soriano becomes that pitcher. Lot on AW want Angels to go get JD Davis and I say why. Miguel Sano brought into camp worked hard to try and get back to player he can be. So first opportunity kick him aside for another player I say no. What does that show players on this team? Health will be important for this team and here is hoping Ron Washington stays healthy. Bunch of no names could surprise many this season.

Like to see Silseth have a good game. Maybe get him closer to number 5 spot in rotation. Halo fans would like Ohtani to look bad against them but this is ST. My hope is Angel players healthy for start of season. New identity take place with young team.

You have no idea if Soriano will be in rotation this season. Halos have Silseth at number 5 now and Daniels not far behind. First Snell or Montgomery are not coming here. They will want opt out and that would be crazy for this halo team to do that. I do not want to hold back Silseth, Daniels or Soriano this year. Crazy concept letting young players develop.

What good would that do if Snell or Montgomery have opt out year 1 or 2. Let young starters develop Silseth, Daniels, Bachman, Soriano, Dana to go along with Detmers, Canning and Sandoval

I wonder about Trouts hand.

Save the money for next off season. Halos have Silseth, Daniels, Soriano and Wantz plus others to be starters. I'm for a new direction with this team. Develop the young players and see where Angels are. Maybe next off season will need more position players and not starters. Burnes will be free agent, I make move next year.

What good would it be to sign Snell or Montgomery with opt out years? Angels probably not in playoffs this year. So Snell or Montgomery good years then leave, bad years you stuck with them. Develop players we have see if Soriano or Wantz can be starters. Plus Daniels, Silseth and others are halo future.

I leave DH spot open. JD Martinez will just be taking AB away from young players like Moniak and Adell. Let this be year to see what young players can do. Adell and Moniak could be part of that and JD will not be.
