    Just read again what I said about Snell. IF IF they do not sign anyone I'm OK with that.

    Like I said IF they do nothing else. I'm ok signing Snell with no opt out until after year 3. Contract has to be something Angels are comfortable with. Opt out after year 1 or 2 for me defeats the purpose of signing. Lorenzen would just be depth piece for this year and maybe tradeable at deadline.

    If Angels do nothing else this off season I'm ok with that. Let this be season to develop young players. See if Soriano or Wantz can become starters. Find out if Moniak or Adell will be part of future. Will Sandoval have bounce back year and Silseth become part of rotation.

    I have good knowledge on Snell signing with Angels. Right now it is 50 50 either he will or he won't.

    Philosophy only works during regular season. Without time change in Arizona hurts any philosophy.

    You invest in a pitcher like Snell you want him around to help build a winner. No opt out until year 3 and if he will not do this move on. If player leaves after year 1 or 2 will be in same spot again next year. You would want Snell to be a building block for this young rotation.

    Halos have 5 OF if you leave DH open Trout, Rendon, Drury among others could DH. Martinez is just a DH does not play in the field. Martinez will not be part of halo future in 2025, 2026 and beyond. Let's see if Moniak or Adell will be part of that future. Only way to find out is let them play this year.

    Detmers, Joyce, Estevez and power bat Sano all had good games.

    New trimmer Sano add speed to that power bat.

    Like I said he started really slow like 0 for 10 but since has hit much better. 3HR SLG 500. spring numbers mean very little except for players like Sano who is trying to make the team. Only time will tell.

    After slow start in spring he has picked it up. That HR can win a game occasionally.

    Sano is 1 reason I do not sign Martinez. He can play 1B, 3B and DH.

    If JD is signed it takes away at bats from Adell and Moniak so it does interrupt seeing what young players can do. I'm against signing JD, Snell is OK because depth at starters is so thin.

    I think Boras may be waiting to see MRI on Cole. If Snell does want to play on west coast Angels and Giants only teams that make sense.

    Could Angels trade Moniak or Adell and keep Marisnick? SD was looking for an OF.
