Correct. Rather than being an adaptation, Fallout is an expansion of the universe. Basically a separate game in the same universe. Which I thought was a smart decision, as they could go where they wanted with the story.

Fallout has a little more of a campy tone, which matches the games. The Last of Us is much more serious.

I'd say the shows are neck and neck for storytelling. I didn't really like the ending of The Last of Us S1, but I did really like the ending of Fallout.

Finished Fallout Season 1 today. Fantastic.
