  1. Strong arm. Brutal control. Pitches from behind and then has to groove fastballs. Lather, rinse, repeat. He’s a long shot in my opinion.
  2. Adrianza is making a strong early case for himself to make this team.
  3. Why can’t we just call it what it really is when we take our dog out for a “walk?” It really should be called “4 steps, stop, sniff, piss/shit, repeat” but I guess “walk” is just easier to say than what really is going on when I take the dog out. What should take us about 30-40 minutes to accomplish takes about 60-75 mins to finish. Screw it, it’s his world.
  4. As a guy who had 33 years of horrible broken sleep patterns, what Arch Stanton said is about all you can do. Try and get into a routine when you can, but all I can really say is get sleep when you can. Sleep is very important to your body. It helps with appetite, your mental health, and mostly your physical health. But don’t try and catch up on missed sleep all in one day. Dont sleep more than 9 hours. If you have to take a nap, do it, but don’t binge sleep. That’s detrimental to your body and mind and will have the opposite effect of what you are trying to accomplish.
  5. Neto now with more home runs (1) in spring training than Trout has hits (0). not that it matters, it’s just a fact. For now.
  6. Like when he said he’d bet “ dollars to doughnuts” that Sandoval would be out there to pitch the 3rd inning. For the record, Silseth is out there for the 3rd
  7. Taylor Ward got throw up and in, including 2 very close to his face, and seemed to react OK, even though he wiffed on an outside curve ball. I think this is going to be a normal thing to see for him and he seemed to deal with it fairly Ok. Good to see.
  8. Terry Smith struggled more reading the names of the Guardians starting line up than Sandoval did in the top of the first. Some tough names for Terry in the line up
  9. I’m trying @Chuck. I have a few things I need to move around. If I can make it, it’s gonna be a quick 2 dayer. I let you know. Sounds like some awesome AW people will be there, including my buddy Rhett.
  10. My dad was very involved in sports with me growing up, so he almost always called me by my first name during games or matches. Son would have been inappropriate. My mom would call me son from the stands. It was the exact opposite when we got home.
  11. Why would she light a Yoohoo on fire? Ohhhhh. Hoohoo. That IS amazing.
  12. I was going to put this in the Dead Celebrities thread but this is OK. He was hilarious in his appearances on Letterman. Cant believe he was 76 though. Damn I’m getting old.
  13. You must never go to a bar that has Karaoke @The Ghost of Bob Starr. Except for One by U2, the other 3 have to be the most awfully sung songs in every Karaoke place. Not that I don’t agree with your opinion, though.
  14. Every f*cking Angels game for years my wife and I attended. This is spot on @T.G.
  15. Used to work right down the street from that McDonald’s on Rosemead Blvd in South El Monte. Never ate there though. Far too dangerous……
  16. I know Jason. Just busting your balls a bit. It’s early in the season.
  17. Slightly off topic, but some guy named Ohtani for the Dodgers hit a home run today.
  18. I’m looking for Griffin Canning to have a breakout year this season. Just needs to stay healthy.
  19. The Red Onion in Huntington Beach. Saw many Monday Night football games there and a few barroom brawls there also. Bad part was it was always a place where the Huntington Beach PD hung out in the parking lot waiting to bust people.
