“Pitch” was the name of the best dog I ever had. I was born in California 62. I try to watch all the televised Angels games I can. Great job Victor & Guby! When I go to the stadium I sit a few rows up behind the plate, seeing the movement of the pitches may be the best part of the game. Decided to look for a place I could post some thoughts and observations. “The worst thing in baseball is to lose a game you should have won”. Go Angels!

    The Shift:
No more than 4 players on one side of the field, center fielder could not lineup on the same side as the shift, home plate umpire could call it. This would give the hitter better odds to hit into the gap. Not sure what penalty would be, probably automatic walk.
No more than one shift per inning. This would by rule allow many hitters to get an opportunity to hit against a standard defense.
Basketball added the 3 point shot, great for the players and the fans. How about a second homerun line maybe out past 450’ that would score as two runs just for the hitter. Baseball could have the “2 pointer”.

Watching the game against Seattle tonight and I noticed a “tell” from Barria. He starts his windup with his glove low around his waist and then raises it to his face. When he throws off speed he moves his glove quicker up to his face. When he throws a fastball he keeps his glove lower longer and raises it slower to his face. I called over twenty pitches in a row.
