Don't really understand why articles like these are written. "What if" scenarios are stupid. I mean, IF my aunt had balls, she would be my uncle.... doesn't really matter... she doesn't so she isn't - move on.

Stubhub should win and if it requires the Legislature to pass a law so be it.
Agreed. And I am going to continue to purchase from StubHub - or from whoever the hell else I decide to.

This is simple, really. As some have said, the best "cure" is rest. Pujols should not be playing 1B. He should be the full-time DH for the rest of the season and then, if need be, have surgery in the offseason (didn't know there was a surgery for it). Trumbo is not a bad first baseman.
The question, though, is why is this a problem in April? Is this another case of a ballplayer being overly macho and trying to muscle through it? If there is a surgery for it, why didn't it happen back in November? Seems like Albert f-ed up on this one.
Good questions.... and where was our "top notch" training staff during the offseason?

The only treatment for plantar fasciitis is rest. It needs time to heal. For those who have never had it, I hope you never get it. It hurts like hell. You can barely put weight on your foot without being in agony. I can't imagine trying to play baseball like that.
Do we have selective memories around here or did all of you start watching the Angels intently after 2002?
Salmon had plantar fasciitis. Had surgery a few days after the season and was ready to go for spring. http://espn.go.com/gen/newswire/2000/20001006/00803046.html
You all just need to get used to Trumbo playing first and Pujols DHing. He should have the surgery in the off season.

Great piece. He was the leader of this team, no doubt. Wish there was some way it could have worked out. We would have been better for it.

I know Kohn got lit up in ST, but his velocity was there, which is a good sign coming off elbow surgery.
So far, he's been pretty damn good with the Bees, posing 0.00 ERA and 7 K's through 4 innings of relief work.

Something tells me we are going to see him vs MLB hitting much sooner than later.

I agree Scott. I was totally impressed on Opening Night with the SH pickup location and the ease. They even gave us vouchers for a free hot dog and soda next door.

Sounds like the fans here wouldn't mind getting swept by the Tigers ... Oh my
Your ability to read and understand posts leaves something to be desired.

we might see legislation to limit the size of backpacks
Then the terrorists have won.

It makes you wonder how many more of these smaller scale attacks are we going to see in the future.
Too many more. This is the beginning.

I hope he is bleeding out and they are able to get to him just in time to save his sorry ass.

Convienient for homeland security to come out with information after the fact.
You know their motto: "Better late than never"

I would prefer he be taken alive, not because I want to see him live, I just think we learn more by taking him alive.
Exactly... And I want to watch them pull the info from him.
-
Get him alive at all costs. I want this kid interrogated. DEEPLY INTERROGATED.
-
I have no problem with his comment. He is playing for a team that is living up to expectations. He should say that stuff.
Sure wish we had something to say in return. Instead, the Angels are in the corner, curled up in the fetal position.
-
So he got away... the good news is he is still alive. They need to get this son of bitch alive so they can interrogate the shit out of him.
-
Good question. They certainly aren't being led by the coaching staff... unless its over a cliff.

I have a pair of the Crosslinks, they're pretty nice. I just like how all their glasses curve around your eyes so the frame doesn't stick out like 2 inches off the corner of your face.
I received a pair of the TwoFace at the opening. I love the feel of them, I just need the prescription because I can't see past the nose on my face without it.

I actually work at the Oakley HQ in Foothill Ranch doing IT work (nothing to do with the retail side), and their sunglasses are no joke. Their HDO Polarized lenses are insanely clear and crisp. A lot of their proprietary lens technology sounds gimmicky with all these buzzwords ("XYZ" technology, hi-def optics and etc.) but they're honestly the best sunglasses I've owned.
As far as apparel, its insanely overpriced at retail pricing (IMO) but its all high quality stuff. I get it cheaper than wholesale and usually still have a hard time justifying the cost unless I'm just buying t-shirts.
Found out at the opening that you can get prescription lenses done by Oakley... going to get the prescription from the Dr and head out to Foothill Ranch.

Of course that's your comeback
Your the one with the history of toeing the company line dude. Of course that's my response.

Buy your tickets from the Angels Ticket Exchange and download them instantly for this weekend's series against the defending American League Champion, Detroit Tigers. The Halos are looking to rebuild the momentum as they return to the Big A on April 19th! The Angels Ticket Exchange boasts most of the best seat locations and deals on the resale market because they are listed by Season Seat Holders. Your tickets are guaranteed to be validated by Ticketmaster so you will never worry about the authenticity of your tickets or need to pick them up at an inconvenient location away from Angel Stadium like you might with other online resale sites.
And so the marketing BS begins.

That's equally ridiculous.
Of course it is... In your eyes.
