  1. I don't see why Adell would be untouchable for the right kind of player. As impressive as Adell has been, he still has an unsightly 33/6 K/BB at High A and strikes out a lot (not saying this can't or won't improve, but he's hardly untouchable). An untouchable prospect to me is someone like Ohtani, Acuna, Vlad Guerrero Jr. etc. I don't think Adell is in that category.

  3. Stop embarrassing yourself, mate. The possibility of Ohtani returning as a hitter was posted everywhere, including ESPN. Not my fault you're living under a rock.
  4. I don't expect Ohtani to pitch again until 2020; however, if he can return as a hitter this season and become the full-time DH next year, then all is not lost. He can still hit even if he's recovering from TJS.
  5. There are plenty of pitchers who don't throw a splitter who have had TJ surgery. Ohtani is far too good and valuable as a starter, which is why he will never become a bullpen pitcher.
  6. If he needs TJ surgery, he won't be back until 2020, most likely. F*ck it. Baseball is dead to me.
  7. An extreme strikeout pitcher will usually allow more walks than a pitcher who pitches to contact and lets his defense do the work. For a guy with a 11+ K/9, a 2.9 BB/9 isn't high. That's a K/BB ratio of nearly 4, which is excellent. As for the qualified starters, 20 pitchers is a lot to use.
  8. But he's an extreme strikeout pitcher. A 2.9 BB/9 isn't high for a guy with a 11+ K/9
  9. That explains the complete lack of control. He should take as much time as he needs until he's 100%.
  10. 2.6 BB/9 in 2015 and 2.9 BB/9 in 2016. That's definitely not high.
  11. Even Rojas and Gubi are noticing it, especially Rojas. Notice how they're questioning the pitches being called.
  12. No player is going to make $400 million decisions based on the manager they play for. That's ridiculous. Trout would never make this a requirement. Nor would any player.
  13. Another game that the Angels should've won gone. There's no way they'll be making the postseason with this bullpen.
  14. Yup. I've been saying this since the season started. Knowing which pitch to call and when matters a lot.
  15. Maldonado loves those 0-2 fastballs. it's good that the announcers are noticing this shit.
  16. Yup. No team will get to the postseason with a terrible bullpen. The Angels have blown way too many games they should've won.
