Yup, although his WAR probably won't be as high as it can be considering he's on an innings/starts limit. But yea, that blister start really did some damage. His numbers would look ace-like if you remove that one start.

Not bad. He has faced some really good hitting teams. These numbers also would've been much better if not for that disastrous start in Boston when he was dealing with the blister issues.
I've seen Maldonado call fastballs on 0-2 and 1-2 counts way too often.
It's not a coincidence that the team's ERA is 1.2 runs higher when he catches compared to when Rivera catches.
