I have been thinking that Pujols shouldn't be the clean up hitter for like 3-4 years now but when i think "so who should be hitting behind Trout in this team?" I can't come up with any answer. Damn this offense

This whole thread is about how crappy our pitching is but our hitting is still atrocious.
Well we have #1,2,3 hitters and from #4 to #9, we have automatic out machines. It's just the same as 2015 and 2016. Just another awful Angels offense. At least Simba has been hot early in the season

JC's fastball has tons of movements with 95-97mph velocity. He should have been more aggressive early on. Instead of throwing bunch of pitches out of the zone and forced to put in the middle of plate and get smoked
-
Uh uh.. unlikely misplay by Red Baron
-
I think JC has his stuff but his command isn't there tonight. Struggling locating pitches
-
This Dominick Cruz guy is funny lol
-
Let's do it boys. Snatch the losing streak at 2!
-
Damn they should have challenged the wild pitch
-
Rangers defense is giving so many opportunities to the Angels but they just can't cash in
-
I feel like Skaggs is the same player 4 years ago and now. Has not made any improvement at all. Good curveball, but no other bright spot in his pitching
-
wtf 3 straight pitches nowhere near the zone. does he seriously think the batter's gonna swing at that or he just can't control where the hell the ball is going to
-
Damn Trout and Pujols struck out looking lol
-
When Skaggs was like 21, I think people said he's the type of prospect that's gonna be a decent starter in any team in the league. Now he is 25 years old and he is still AA material except for in couple of teams whose starting rotations are devastated. I wonder if he's ever going to have a full season with 10+ wins and 3-4 ERA

Some really good signs: great defense, dynamic offense, Cam looking like his dad. Concerns: starting pitching looks shaky. But it is early...hopefully Skaggs and Shoe will settle down, and Garret is OK.
I really wish Garret can come back healthy

I'm so excited for the come back. Still hyper haha. But I am really really happy that players did not give up when it was 3:9 and they had only 1 inning left. They didn't just swing bats super early and died like wtf and wasted an inning like bunch of dummies. They saw a lot of balls, took counts, swung like they are looking to get on base anyhow.

Albert Pujols comes through the clutch BIG TIME!!!!!!
-
No need to swing big. Just a base hit can tie it!!
-
Time to walk it off Albert!
-
Walk it off Mike!!!
-
Oh they aren't walking Mike Trout
-
Goooooooooooooooooooo Angels!!!!!
-
If Kole gets on base somehow, they will surely walk Mike Trout. So this game will likely to be on Albert Pujols

Yup. Very unlikely. Calhoun usually saves runs on defensive end but not tonight. Also, JC allowed 1 extra run because Scoscia didn't review Alex Gordon's hit by pitch. If Angels asked for review on that wild pitch, they would have saved another run
