I understand Scioscia would have wanted to save Cam for 11th or 12th inning since he can almost be sure the Angels will not score a run for next 2 innings, but putting Cam in now is kind of pointless

Looking at the Royals' batters avgs, I feel like Royals fans must be sighing at their offense as well.

And of course we can't score off of Herrera :/

If Angels can score some runs off of Herrera, that means Ian Kennedy through 8 innings > Herrera with fresh arm. That sounds like Kennedy is the best pitcher in this planet

So Carlos Perez is 1-13 this season, and that 1 hit is the squeeze bunt against Rangers, which they didn't pick up the ball intentionally.

We need to pick up a back up catcher somewhere. I don't think Carlos Perez belongs to the big league. Fine arm, but worst offense and one of the worst catching (7th in the bottom in framing pitches in 2016) This guy actually makes me miss Jeff Mathis

I'd say it was smart decision cuz with Christian Colon and Drew Butera, there is barely any risk of any kind of run threat. You can boost your starter's confidence and reduce bull-pen innings with almost no risk

7 Shut out innings from Skaggs. Best pitching performance I've seen from him for awhile tbh. (let's not think about how awful Royals offense has been) 

Now it's time for our bats to come alive and do some dmg. Seriously 9 runs in 5 games is unacceptable

Yeah probably after 2nd comeback victory on Tuesday. Since then, they are scoring 9 runs in 5 games, which is 1.8 runs per game.

Like 3 of our regular starters are batting around or below Mendoza line (including #4 hitter) and guys that started the season red hot are coming back to earth. Our offense just looks like the one we saw last year 

Sad to see this offense :/ 1 run scored against Karns yesterday, and can't touch Ian Kennedy today. 

This offense makes opposing pitchers all look like Kershaw

I wish they can at least hit Nate Karns tmrw. Gonna go watch Kershaw vs Greinke now
