I absolutely love this team because they embody the things we love as fans.  They will circle the wagons and make us all proud, I'm sure.

My point is this staff may win as many titles as the staff of Zito, Mulder and Hudson accomplished together. 

I enjoy this board, but I have no idea what's acceptable and what's not.

I know something was posted a while back about a new set of expectations or rules or something, but as far as I can tell - nothing has changed.  I'm not complaining mind you because I have the option to ignore what I want to.  I just really don't know what you can or can't do.

When Scioscia fills out the lineup card each day, he puts in at least one guy that he knows the AW forum will feast on.  It's deliberate.  It's all about driving traffic to this forum.

Rob Neyer isn't a very talented writer, but his posts have a lot of intangibles... they stir the pot, they give other people looking for a career in sports journalism hope, and they're good for a laugh or two - even though that's not his intent.

This is a cop out... and his built in excuse when the A's fail to win it all.

We'll hear this "The Angels were lucky" - just like in 2002.  Not that luck doesn't play a role in baseball, but to summarize a team's success or failure with the term "lucky" is just weak.

Clearly... this team needs superstars at every position, preferably HOF'ers if you can get them.
