    I think pitching is the issue not Left field.

    One big thing about what the Whitesox aid was just tone it down, that is a reasonable request. He didn't have to stop , just dial it back a little.

    I agree , they need to add some starting pitching depth . There are some pitchers we can grab on minor league deals.

    Richards, Heaney ,Tropeano.... That's only 3 to count on .

    Our depth isn't really fine, weaver is a shadow of himself , Shoemaker is getting bombed and Skaggs and Wilson wont be ready or the start of the season.

    Weaver is going to get every opportunity in Spring training to work through this. The question is if nothing changes does he walk away or does the organization have the balls to move him out?

    He cant continue with a 78-80 MPH fastball. The organization is going to have to make a decision soon, cant let him start the year off after he worked hard in the offseason to improve this issue.

    Shoemaker is giving up to many homeruns, Weaver worked hard in the offseason , but 80-83 mph fastballs just don't cut it. Skaggs and Wilson are not even ready to pitch. If you look at the list we have an ace and a bunch off number 4 or 5 pitchers ,add that to weak bullpen and we are in trouble.

    Laagamer, I am also concerned about Beer prices.

    They do have a few other options in case he doesn't improve.

    I would have liked the Angels to give the lefty Thornton a minor league deal.

    This is sign things to come , get used to it. A lot of 1-2 run games that we lose.

    Wow sure going to miss the other board. Look forward to engaging the new one. Not going to miss Charles though.
