  1. Made sense when it was written. Take another thing God cared about 2K years ago. Eating shellfish. Before refrigeration not eating shellfish made a shitton of sense. It was a lot easier than trying to explain the bacteria and shit. Now they make TV shows about how good it is. Before technology, fucking to not propagate was bad. When you had 15 kids and 2 lived to marriage, ain't got time to be picky on who you fuck. Vagina make you squeamish? Suck it up you walking sperm factory. The species was one really bad flu epidemic away from extinction. Now we could use some restraint on making little shitheads. Sadly no one has bothered going back to God for updates.
  2. You're comparing Republican congressional representatives, who more than likely have been influenced by the same Russian/Other funding as Trump, to the average voter?
  3. So a women could only do it if she is married and has a man to help her? Sexist.
  4. Will you just shut up and vote Trump like YK wants?
  5. What? A woman wouldn't be able to figure out a way? Sexist.
  6. I'm guessing someone did and will profit handsomely from it.
  7. Trump thanks you for your effort Trumpbot45323
  8. That means you can't just state who cares, it's a private school. There are limits. You have to state why it doesn't fall into the unacceptable range.
  9. There is a limit to this logic. If the VP's wife worked for a private school using the Hitler youth curriculum it'd probably be a bit troublesome. Depressingly the preceding sentence isn't zero percent probability in this day.
  10. Please ban @yk9001 and then buy him a beer of his choice.
  11. I do find it interesting that a political side that so ridiculed the Citizen United decision as giving soulless corporations constitutional protections and treating them as people, now criticize others for not accepting lessons of morality from them.
  12. What would be your answer? Either specifically in regards to religion or in general?
  13. 6 months ago Nike's stock price was $77.75 Today it's $77.88 I'm going to suggest it was neither a disaster nor a brilliant marketing move.
  14. Can you really say that it's a malfunction though if it's so damn common? Is it a bug or a feature?
  15. It really doesn't. The majority of people inherently want to attach themselves to something bigger. And once attached, because of insecurity, will often overcompensate by making a large display of adherent belief. It'd be easy to just both sides it, but even that short changes this behavior. How many people can you count on this board that overdoes their Angels fandom? It's so rampant now that kids have a name for it. "stanning"
  16. Religion is a reflection of its membership. It wasn't many years ago that some mainstream Christian churches used its texts to justify racism, not that the logic withstood any measure of intellectual scrutiny. Fix the people and the religion will adjust accordingly. If the internet has shown anything, people can achieve a dogmatic view on anything and react to criticism or questioning of this belief in a predictable hateful way. I suppose that is why traditional religion has declined in popularity. People can get that particular fix outside of church.
  17. It's almost like the administration and its allies are waging a massive disinformation campaign while also consistently discrediting the media.
  18. Why exactly are trying to convince people they're MAGAs? Do you in your spare time go around trying to convince people they're pedophiles and/or murderers?
  19. Yes. You were told this. We believe you. Right rest of the board?
  20. He's enough of a fan that he bought DQ. Sees candies too.
  21. Read that it's a common trait of recently obscenely wealthy. Similarly to why Jobs always wore the same turtleneck/nuthugger jeans, they somehow rationalize that the less time worrying about food or other mundane tasks, the more time they have to making money. Bill Gates has a similar diet it seems to Trump https://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/thinking-man/bill-gates-he-eats-big-macs-for-lunch-and-schedules-every-minute/
  22. It's not dead. The UK will still leave the EU in March unless something changes. Without Parliament passing a deal they will do so without any arrangement with their former EU peers. This would be bad to catastrophic for both the EU and the UK. May um... may have dragged her feet to pressure members of Parliament to accept a deal. Those opposed to the exit may be trying to pressure for another referendum vote, though that seems unlikely. She may face another no-confidence vote though she would likely survive it at this point. She may go back to the EU to try and get more concessions, though the EU while concerned about no deal, is loathe to give up anything else. May sigh... may also try to push back the March dropdead date if there is progress.
