  1. This is Redondo's version of Viagra. Don't spoil the moment for him.
  2. It would be kind of funny if one of those things accidentally detonated.
  3. Bush did demand that the Taliban hand over Bin Laden, between September 12th and October 7th, 2001 and they refused. If they had turned him over and driven Al Qaeda out themselves...it would be interesting to see what would have happened next. Of course Al Qaeda did a favor for the Taliban on September 9th by killing Ahmad Shah Massoud so it seems like they were bound to Al Qaeda, regardless.
  4. I get that combat is a scary thing and it takes guts to pick up a weapon and fight back. Having said that, if they really don't want to deal with the Taliban, you're going to have to fight. Hanging onto the wing of a C-130 will result in death. Picking up a weapon and fighting will most likely have the same result but at least take out a few of them while you can and maybe a show of force will give you some sort of chance. Unfortunately, that opportunity seems to have come and gone.
  5. Hey that’s par for the course for us. I think we all remember how the Kurds felt when we withdrew and the images we saw of them pelting our military vehicles right before Turkey did their thing. Seems like Trump fucked that up with no plan. But meh, he did the right thing in my mind getting them out of Syria (he just shouldn’t have diverted them to Saudi Arabia). Again, we did what we could and it was time to get out. Hopefully Biden can actually refrain himself and stay out.
  6. This is a positive for the U.S. It sucks ass for some of the good people in Afghanistan but we can no longer justify our presence there. What’s happening now was always going to happen and neither Trump nor Biden could stop it. People can be partisan hacks about this but I would say this is the best thing we’ve done for Afghanistan in the last few years.
  7. The only thing I'll say is if Trump is such a bad ass, he had four years to win the war. He failed. But just like health insurance, "who knew Afghanistan was so complicated?"
  8. Do you honestly think this would have ended any different with Trump? Answer honestly. I do laugh at their "optimism" thinking Afghanistan would be somewhat stable. I know it isn't in an office holder's nature to answer truthfully but at least say something along the lines of "we'll see how it plays out."
  9. And that would have perpetuated the notion of the "forever war." Bush, Obama and Trump have thrown everything at the ME for the past twenty years and this is still happening. Biden is occasionally lobbing shit at them and in Syria dealing with the Iranians. It's pointless and it is exactly what Bin Laden wanted when it came the U.S. spending valuable resources waging war in the ME. Hell, NK was still trying to develop their nuclear programs while Trump was in office. In today's world, no amount of flexing is going to do anything. Just not how the world works anymore.
  10. The troop level in Afghanistan when Obama took office was a lot bigger than when he left. Trump continued to reduce the numbers along with withdrawing troop levels in Syria but unfortunately some of those troops just got re-deployed elsewhere in the ME, some guarding oil fields. No president has the balls to get out completely.
  11. I remember Trump contributing to inflation and Biden continuing it. Solid list of choices America has given us the last few elections.
  12. You think we would have come up with something after the same exact thing happened in Iraq back in 2014 with their Army leaving everything in the hands of ISIS.
  13. Yes we know that. And with Trump's spending, he would be considered a RINO by you and Branco, correct?
  14. Glad Branco admits Trump is a RINO, right @Redondo?
  15. Talking about people living in fear is slightly hypocritical when one of the stated reasons you have for not getting vaccinated is the unknown of the vaccine itself. Sounds like you have some fear.
  16. https://www.ksl.com/article/50219844/utah-family-shares-regret-over-not-getting-covid-19-vaccine-because-of-fear-and-lies Doesn't appear to be against the vaccine but told his wife to pray about it and God said they would be fine. Now asking God for a miracle.
  17. Someone needs to wake Jay up. Biden told him to step down. Here is the link www.google.com
  18. At least he didn’t kill them with Covid.
