It took the Ducks 6 games to win their series? Thought they would have done it in 4. We know the Kings suck so it is no surprise that it took 7 games for them to finish off the Sharks.

Btw this will be my only trash talking due to the fact I don't know if I really expect the Kings to win this series. Should be a good one.

It's actually amazing to see people try to justify the shooting by stating that we don't know why the suspect was running away. Who the **** cares?

I don't remember anyone justifying anything. Good try though. Plus I stated the cops ****ed up. However I put blame on both parties. Guy wouldn't pull over during a slow speed chase. He followed that up by not getting out of his vehicle and complying. Then he runs. That does not justify the cops shooting and killing him, misunderstanding or not but the guy should not have run. He caused a whole new situation to unfold. Sucks he died and any wrongdoing should be dealt with when it comes to the cops.

I hope you all feel like jerks rooting against an Anaheim team next week.

I've stuck with the Kings due to them being the only southern California hockey team for so long till the Ducks came around. If it wasn't for the great one and the kings, there might not be a ducks team.

Having said that I don't think the Kings would have a Cup if it wasn't for the Ducks. Grateful that they won it to get the Kings in gear and finally say that mediocrity was no longer acceptable.

I've had good experiences with cops and really crappy ones so I guess I tend to be somewhat neutral. If you guys want to find a gold mine of info on corrupt cops, take some time to look up West Valley, UT cops. That should keep you busy for awhile.

We've got a pretty good track record of finding no fault with police and getting these guys back on the beat immediately. Why would they show any caution?

The idiot cops in the Kelly Thomas murder were fired by Fullerton, correct? I thought I read that somewhere. At least there are a couple I guess that won't be on the beat anymore.

I agree with you mt as I stated above. The cops absolutely could have done something better. Hindsight is hindsight though and who knows what the cops were thinking as the guy continued to evade police through a car chase (albeit a slow one as reported), refused to comply, and then ran.

I'm assuming that last part in your post was made in jest although you partly believe it? Just to clarify.

It really sucks he died and we need truthful answers of what exactly happened. Having said that, why did he run? Why wouldn't he pull over or comply? It is easier after the fact to say he was unarmed but not so easy while the situation was actually happening.

Another shitty end to something that didn't have to happen. Both sides are at fault in my opinion.

Kings just got help from the Refs.

As a Kings fan, I believe the Ducks can beat them in 5 or 6 games. If it went 7, who knows. The Kings have to take care of business though so this whole idea of the long awaited Kings-Ducks matchup might be moot. On the other hand, I personally believe in momentum and if the Kings came back and won their series after being down 3-0, that could carry over. We'll see.

Congrats Duck fans. Your team fought like hell and they deserved the series win.

LB, you can't take Geoff seriously. The way the Kings played in the first two games, you had to expect it. Just be happy they are putting up a fight being up 3-0 midway through game 5. Even if we lose the series, something you an Geoff can agree on is at least you aren't Shark fans.

Bullshit that TD enjoys when players are hurting this team. He enjoys that people get so bent out of shape over the opinion given on an internet message board of somebody that they have never met. I believe he is a fan of this team. Maybe he isn't. But he certainly doesn't get enjoyment out of the team suffering. I'm not buying that for a second.

I enjoy TD. His posts and the fact that people respond adds instant humor to a thread. The dude has been doing this for years and yet still manages to get people who are fully aware of his shtick to argue with him. I've seen Blarg argue with him. I've seen Bruin argue with him. I've even seen Chuck argue with him. Maybe there is a rule against trolling but if someone is that good at it then I gotta tip my cap.
