    He was BLOWN up in that 4 start stretch in august. I resent him for that. Also, his body of work for his career is not worth the money. We are in a desperate spot and it sucks. That was my original point.

    Nice cherry pick. I traded for him in my fantasy league around august and he was awful.

    After not signing Cole, trading Adell became even less desirable. We are not competing until 2022 if we are lucky. If we sign cole and could pair him with another ace then I would think about trading Adell.

    Costs are obviously inflated in this market. No "bargains" to be had. Angels lost 90 games and will have to overpay to get any free agent. We are in a rough rough spot. That's why you had to win the Cole sweepstakes. Now you have to over pay for far lesser talent. Goodluck outbidding the dodgers and rangers for rendon.

    Rendon is not the answer. He’s nice but not going to solve our problems.

    Everyone is overlooking the massive injury risk rendon brings. Angels are fucked. Now have to overpay old injury risk filled players.

    Bumgarner had a freak injury in 2018 and then came back and threw 200 innings last year. Angels need durable starting pitching. I'm all in on Bumgarner if I'm the angels. Regardless of cole.

    There were at least 4 free agent pitchers that performed well this season that we passed on or were outbid for. Charlie Morton among others.

    It's a crime if Eppler doesn't acquire arms. This team is battling every night and has a great lineup. The bullpen is exhausted. Our Pet's heads are falling off. All this could be fixed with warm bodies who can eat innings.
