  1. You heard it here first folks.
  2. Welcome to 2024. This happens with everything, not just baseball stories. Most people are stupid, we all agree on that but we disagree on who exactly is stupid.
  3. Of course but even if one is going to claim he did, it wouldn't be hard to find one he can communicate with. It's stranger that he wouldn't do so.
  4. No Japanese speaking accountants available in Southern California. You know how dense that sounds?
  5. Nobody said he wasn't playing regularly in my scenario, just that there are enough at bats for both. I do think its far too quick to send him down at this point. He may very well need it but 11 games doesn't give you that answer especially with the improvements that were seen in Spring.
  6. It will be interesting to see why the bookie kept saying that he knew Ippei was good for it and bumping his limit. Thats always been the part of the story that doesn't add up for me. Was the bookie just an idiot or was he led to believe that Ohtani was covering? If the latter, how was he led to believe this?
  7. Thats a different organization and much different circumstances. You have deaths etc. associated with the NFL topic and possible lawsuits due to it. What they did was wrong but you are reaching here, imo. Sandoval responded like he does when an error occurs while he is on the mound. Flying off the handle and saying they don't care about health with little to no proof is crazy. The NFL players had this proof that the NFL didn't care based on medical facts that had been found. There are no medical facts that say these pitching injuries are due to a rule change. The numbers don't back it either as of now, maybe that changes in the future.
  8. Star players hurt is not a net positive for the league. Therefore, jumping to what he said is likely a quick response without much thought. Its immature and something a child would do.
  9. He said the league doesn't care about pitchers health. Thats a childish take. TJ surgeries have been hovering around 30% for the last 5 years or so. Last season it went to 34%. Seems like it more than the pitch clock.
  10. Well, if he is mentally weak and you think struggles in the MLB may affect him, imagine how being sent down would affect him mentally. I doubt either would be an issue myself. Rengifo can be in the lineup most days with Schanuel still on the roster.
  11. Early season it seems like Moniak has really worked on his plate discipline. Hopefully that continues.
