As long as he doesn't get hurt, I don't care. I don't know if it's smart playing. coming off foot and knee problems. I know Aaron Boone had his contract voided with the Yankees getting hurt playing basketball, don't think the Angels were smart enough to put that in the contract.

I look at it as gaining Calhoun as a full time player, instead of a PB-Calhoun platoon next year.

Scioscia has never been very good at playing the right guy when he has a choice between 2.

Unless Tigers shipped a lot of $$$ to #Rangers, I don't see Fielder for Kinsler making much sense.

I don't blame the Angels for being reluctant to trade Trumbo. If Cabrera can play third base then why can't Trumbo!

The Red Sox have done well having a permanent DH in their line up .

Maybe it's not the Angels being reluctant to trade Trumbo, I think it's more that they  are reluctant to trade Trumbo for what's being offered. Dipoto knows he must win whatever trade he makes after the awful job he did last year.

So you would trade that for 1 year of Scherzer who's agent is Boras, compared to 2 years of Price? I would take Price.

I agree. I was just going to post the same thing. They would want prospects or players that aren't in their arb. years yet.  

The only way I see it working is with a third team. 

I don't see the Rays wanting Trumbo and Howie, but they would be cheaper then Price.
