Agreed. Very glad they didn't throw more money at 30+ year old sunk cost contracts just to win 74 games again. Give the innings and AB's to the young guys with this new coaching staff in place and see how they develop as the season goes on and go from there as an org. Properly build your core from within

Ohtani would be talking for about 2 straight minutes and then the translator would have some simple 10 second translation of what Ohtani said before coming to an abrupt stop. Even Ohtani was looking at him confused at times

Really was quite hilarious considering his only frame of reference here is the loose translation/cliff notes version the interpreter gave us regarding Ohtani's comments(Unless O'Dowd is fluent in Japanese, which I'll assume isn't the case)

MLB did put Wander Franco on administrative leave for basically the last couple months of the season when they started an investigation into his relationship with a minor, so it seems they can be somewhat flexible with how they enforce it I guess? That said, of course nothing is gonna happen with Ohtani out of all of this. I'll still get my jokes off though because I hate the Dodgers

Angels singing Snell would be a very Angels move, which isn't a good thing. Only thing that would make it less damaging is that they may be able to get him on a short-term deal with opt outs. SImilar to the Bellinger contract with the Cubs. A shitty 3 year deal is easier to accept than a shitty 7 year deal(Rendon)

Rendon news is old. We've known for years he doesn't like baseball but was good at it. It's only an issue now because he's 1. hasn't been good 2. has been hurt a lot. Hopefully that changes this season, though I'm not holding my breathe much on that.
