  1. Now that we got the no-hitter out of the way early we can go back to just getting shut out
  2. Cool. Can't wait to for 3 games from now when the opposing pitcher takes a no hitter into the 7th inning yet again
  3. California Raleigh would be the 3rd best hitter in our lineup tonight
  4. And when our starters struggle, they just absolutely implode and the game's over by the 3rd inning. No middle ground like 3 ER's over 6 innings to at least keep us in the game
  5. I'm tuning in to see who breaks up the no-hitter in the 9th inning with the Mariners leading 13-0
  6. Give Walsh a break. He's a 28 year old millennial, which means he probably woke up with anxiety and a stuffed left nostril and needs to sit for a few days.
  7. On that note, I can't wait to see which hitter we sign to a 7 year contract this offseason
  8. I'm kind of baffled that for all this team's asshattery over the recent years we still somehow haven't gotten no-hit
  9. He hath brought shame upon his family, allowing himself to be vanquished by the puny offense of the Angels.
  10. Lol. I'm kinda disappointed. If you're gonna lose 4-0 and don't even put up a fight just go ahead and suffer the indignity of a no-hitter while you're at it
  11. It feels like the players have already given up on the season and we still have to watch another 100 games of them repeatedly scoring 0-1 runs and blowing 80% of the leads they do get
  12. It's awful, but it's not out of the ordinary even for good teams. Just look at the last 4 guys in the Astros lineup. Difference with them is they actually get consistent production from the top half of the lineup and their pitchers while we have Ohtani and Syndergaard putting up complete stinkers semi-regularly
  13. Wasn't Velasquez originally brought on to be purely depth/late inning replacement? At least that was the discussion when he was signed. Too bad Fletcher fell apart
  14. Eh, we're the Angels. I'll consider ourselves lucky if we even get one of the two. Usually it's someone like Mayfield who does neither.
  15. It's not a problem if the guys batting 1-7 are hitting as they should be, which they haven't even remotely been doing.
