Born and raised in the OC moved to Texas about 6 years ago.

Welcome, where you at?  There is a few of us here that will actually admit it. 

I need to jump start my team's mojo, so I tried to change my team name to Kaepernickelback ... but it wouldn't let me because it's too long. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(story of my life)

Seahawks own Kaepernickleback.  Almost like the week before playing them he is put in a room piping out nothing but Nickleback songs then they just stick him on the field to get destroyed. 

I've been looking over the site and see nothing about IR'ing players.  Is that not an option in this league?  I'll assume that it isn't.

Most leagues have it but we normally don't if it is someone not IR'd by the team.  Percy Harvin, Shane Vereen guys like that.  If you already have someone that got sent to IR I have no problem opening up a spot.  Other leagues people just dump someone like Bell (Pitt) there, Gronkowski, even someone suspended when they really are not on IR.  

I like the Quarry better because Brack is still laid out like a muni course, guess they were all like that back then.  Probably too hot still to go to the Quarry though.  You get in the pit there on the back side and there is no wind or trees.

Played brackenridge yesterday. Went 40 and 40 for an 80. Very fun course.

Interesting history in the course. It is an A.W. Tillinghast design and the course was the first public course in the state of Texas and it had some of the oRiginal stone bridges. He is the designer of bethpage, baltusrol, and winged foot. Greens were all mounds well above your head. Green side bunkers in every hole that had huge faces that were above your head. Lots of rectangle greens too. Lots of old charm.

Good round there, have broken 80 a few times but normally if I am headed under 80 there 16 with the big tree right in front of you messes me up. I never get that tee shot laid up right.  I never paid attention but thinking about it you are right, all the greens are built like an ant pile.

Bummer. I did the same thinking Carolina was at home. Would have went with Buffalo at home after how they looked against NE in week 1.

It would appear that way and Todd seems like he is not all on board with his uncle's plays so he may help F up their group.  Then again this show has shown you can't predict anything.

Now that A&M lost I don't know if they will finally shut up about Johnny Acne or will carry on more about him.  I mean he "almost" led them back and all. Not like a pick in the end zone and one ran back for a score were his fault for losing.  Yes I despise all Texas teams.

IMO the pros will draft someone with McCarron's game before his.  

Brady was a bad pick.  If he has no fast white guys or convicts left there is nobody else to throw it to. Think I am heading for 11 of 12 this year.

Ya, a guy who has no QB that can get him the ball, one that came out of nowhere playing against 4th stringers in the pre-season and is just hype and another that you grabbed off waivers in the middle of the game when waivers should be shut down once a Thursday game starts.  I would trade them for a stud receiver also.  Tank, watch out for this guy, always contact me first before any trades with him.

I guess I was most curious about being matched up against another team. My record is 0-1 and I had no idea this was a component of playing, so I wondered how this factored into the overall scheme of scoring. Do the standings in my division affect my overall score?

Tank, it is all about getting as many points as you can but more so getting more than the team you are facing.  Were you at the draft or did it auto-pick for you?  You have 2 top QB's and 2 top 10 Tight ends with another tight end on the bench.  You need to swing some deals and upgrade your running backs. Look for who needs a QB or TE.    I have some work to do on my team also. 

The day pass from camp option was my choice.  

I'm surprised it wasn't the oil companies.  Regardless, this isn't as simplistic as he makes it.  There are always going to be people or groups putting undue influence on politicians.

Ya we could have had electric cars by now if we really wanted.  Problem is like Eric said is where to do the repairs but that would not be hard to catch up with if there were enough of them on the road. Vehicle like this is not for the average person though, nice looking car if you are the celebrities they showed.  Interesting piece though because I can see the side of the franchised dealership and the guy trying to market the Tesla also. 

To me if he has the money to build the car, buy a lot and put up a structure....let him sell it to whoever wants it....or can afford it.
