Who's our pitching coach again?
-
Not to worry. A Trout walk and a 2 run Calhoun homer will win this game
-
Annnnnnd then he goes and does that
-
Shocking that JG beat that out.
-
Ive been touting Perez for a long time. Hes got a 1.000 to start the year.
Nice.
-
You guys do realize that in 230 innings last year, Jake Arrieta gave up 10 HR's, right?
Yeah but he pitches in the AAAA league. Tonight hes playing against a big league team
-
-
It will all depend on Richards, Santiago, and Heaney being legitimate 1-3 starters. If any of them dont meet their expectations, this team will struggle. Luckily for the Angels all 3 guys are just entering their primes.
-
Been in love with Perez since last September. Hes gonna be a really good catcher in this league. Thanks Dipoto!
-
Yeah, my counter is your and idoit. Giavotella has been much improved at 2nd to the point your idiocy is on display by his performance so far just tonight. His play deep on the hole at 2nd with a spin throw was the final out preventing a run to score.
Even Cron has been picking hard skipping throws out of the dirt. So most of your argument fizzles because you've obviously haven't watched any spring training games.
Escobar is a work in progress but even that blind squirrel prevented a double down the line on a shift and made a great play on a bunt preventing a runner to reach third. One of the reasons the Dodgers are not on the scoreboard.
So, what exactly do you have other than last seasons complaints?
Nothing, nice counter argument. See how easy that was? Didnt need to act like a jackass and point out a spelling mistake when you could have provided a coherent argument like that.
Lets see how this plays out. If they show consistency on defense this season I will indeed be wrong about our infield defense.
-
Maybe you should learn how to spell the players names before you start with your uneducated rants.
The spelling of their name has nothing to do with their ability to play the game. This isnt a spelling bee and if you have a counter argument provide one or shut up.
-
Imagine this infield defense
1B - Cron
2B - Giavatella
SS - Simmons
3B - Escobar
3 terrible defenders on one infield. As a side note, we basically swapped out Freese's bat for Giavatella by letting him go.
-
Ji man choi is a poor mans Reggie Willits
-
No. This team needs offense, wasting money on pitching when we cant afford a decent lineup would be stupid. We need a 3B, 2B, or LF.
-
OJ was a great running back. Who cares that he killed a waiter and some chick.
Still completely missing the point I see.

what do you think of people who hide? dishonest people who act shamefully. now, i'm not talking about the moralistic shame put on you by other people. i'm talking about the shame you feel inside. the kind that makes you hide your true self from other people.
the next sincere words out of a rod's mouth will be the first. he's been cheating and lying since high school.
what would you expect me to think of a person that vocally applauds that person?
That all makes sense, but some people just genuinely enjoyed watching him play the game of baseball. A-Rod in his prime was an extraordinary talent and was fun to watch. Same thing for Bonds. People forget baseball is entertainment just like any other sport. Just because you like a player on the field doesnt mean youre openly supporting every single choice he makes in his life.
-
It means his only redeeming quality were his stats. He wasn't a good team mate, and he cheated. I'm shocked you need this explained. He wasn't a likable guy. He wasn't great with the fans or the media. He threw his team mate under the bus when he got caught. I love his stats, but he's kind of a fraud and that's putting it nicely.
Wasnt talking to you but thanks for chiming in.
By the way I was referring to what he means by "youre beyond help." Im well aware of why people dont like him captain obvious.
-
honestly, if arod is your guy, then you're beyond help.
Elaborate on what you mean by this
-
At least were going all in to win a championship.
Oh wait, no we arent.
-
A true legend and one of the best to ever play the game.

Open letter to White Sox players
http://www.southsidesox.com/2016/3/19/11269960/open-letter-to-white-sox-players
I think the teammates are coming off worse. Eaton calling Drake a "team leader". Chris Sale hanging his son's jersey up in the locker. Threatening to boycott a game.
Yikes.
That was great, particularly these parts
Let's break that down for a minute. How do you think that sounds to a lot of your teammates? Let's say it's a guy with a few major league seasons under his belt, maybe with the White Sox, maybe with some other teams, too. Guess what they're probably thinking.
This teenager is a team leader? That's a guy my teammates respect as a leader? Really? What about me? I'm supposed to give that much respect to a kid? I have to watch what I say and do, watch some kid fly on our charter, have a locker, be involved in everything - even handhold him in drills where I'm trying to get better - while I've worked for years to reach this level, sacrificed lots of things, actually play for the team. And I don't get the same respect Adam Laroche's kid gets. I can't actually approach him about his son, about how I really feel about having a kid in my locker room. (And, yes, some of us did notice that LaRoche was not a good player.) That's why I (and others) went behind LaRoche's and everyone else's back.
White Sox fans are thrilled that hes gone and if youre the owner thats all you really care about.

To nobody's surprise, there were complaints about LaRoche having his kid around all.the.friggin.time.
According to the story, White Sox asked LaRoche to scale things back and after the talk nothing changed. LaRoche still kept bringing his son to the ballpark and had him participating in practice drills for the next 3-4 days. That's when the White Sox finally had enough
But u dont have all the facts!!!!11
-
They should donate 5 million dollars of that Laroche money to boys and girls clubs of America. That would really be the icing on this sh** cake
-
Enough with you dont have all the facts bs. So if every player decides to bring all their kids with them to ballpark every single day, it should be allowed? Wny not just turn every clubhouse in baseball into daycare for kids.
This guy is a .220 hitter by the way. If it were Chris Sale, he could get away with it. Ken Williams is a genius for doing this. I bet the owner is loving that 13 million hes about to save.
