    i swear there's a thread like this every year, and it always seems to happen when he comes back from injury, then Mike Trout starts doing Mike Trout things, and we forget about it. I actually hadn't notice him playing particularly bad or anything. "Bad" Mike Trout is still better than "Good" everyone else. I'm content.

    Very bittersweet only because Tim represents the best traits of the Angels Organization, and as far as I know is universally beloved among Angels fans. It's sad to see him go, but I'm happy that the Baseball Hall of Fame has "one of us" at the helm. One of the best people in all of baseball, and absolutely deserved.

    I'm glad someone said this. I know we all took our shots at Scioscia but at the very least he was consistent. It feels like Ausmus is just flailing his arms out there and this team just feels like those mediocre Detroit teams that he managed a few years ago.
