LMAO. I have a full life, wonderful family, great career, disposable income, and good health. I just can't see being as miserable as you; I guess that's the dilemma for both of us.

If this keeps up, Callaspo will be trade bait, which is always good.

Are you ****ing kidding me Pollyanna? Listen bud, I'm not gonna question your fandom, but I've been living and dying with this ****ing team since 1978, so don't get on your high-horse calling out everyone here who calls their favorite team out when they suck. And boy did they suck, really really suck up until last ****ing night when they had a miracle walk-of win at home against.......THE ASTROS!!!!! Yeah, I'm sure you knew it all along dude...all of us were just wantonly gesticulating for nothing. Let's give it a couple weeks before you claim fanhood supremacy.
Is that the best you can do?

I'm not saying he should just throw strikes every 0-2 or 1-2 count but he has to do it sometimes or hitters will just assume those pitches are going to be out of the zone and lay off. My point is he's too predictable, just like Blanton. Blanton needs to be willing to waste more pitches to set up bad contact, opposite problem.
I have an idea: let's do a splice between Wilson and Blanton and have a Wilton!
Seriously, you never throw another strike at 0-2...even 1-2 is debatable. However, it is obvious that Wilson is throwing too many pitches, especially full counts.

Loved it. Wish it was longer. Harrison Ford was AWESOME.
That would make the first time anyone called Harrison Ford's performance "awesome" in something like twenty years.

According to fox tracks CJ was not getting squeezed. Ump had a good zone. All those balls were borderline sure but they were just off the plate. He's predictable. If I were in an 0-2 count against him I wouldn't swing till it was 3-2. It is predictable, he needs to throw strikes 0-2 & 1-2 sometimes.
Yes, but Blanton doesn't walk anybody (throws strikes) and he gives up runs like a Mexican buffet. Point is, everything in moderation.

If you expect anyone to answer when you call them "primitive" well, you can just go to hell.

Too bad the failos who were here for the first week are not any longer. It's amazing how many of them only login and post to complain when we lose and yet do absolutely nothing to further any baseball conversation when we win. I used to read and post on the old board and I see the same names here consistently posting; however, it's the same old story with the whiners: they show up only when we lose.
As a supporter of the team, win or lose, I see this as a turn-around since taking this series was a necessity. Pujols is back to his norms, Trout is heating up again and smiling, Hamilton is starting to rake, and our bull pen is getting it's head out of it's arse...credit goes to Butcher if you are willing to fire him when things don't go well. All in all, it's a good thing this is happening just ten days into the season vs. all month long like last year. I might be eating crow if we don't win another series for a while, but I'm betting we are a competitive team at this point.

One lowly run.

Because Guby is paid by the Angels to say positive things.
That is an over simplified and erroneous response. One of the things I like about Rojas is how he calls it like he sees it. I think this has rubbed off on Gub, as well. I also agree that Wilson has a good fast ball and can place it where he wants; command is not the problem. It's in his head, as Rojas mentioned today. I absolutely do not think that "he nibbles because he knows his stuff is not that great." What a load of SHIT.

Actually, it was a team effort. Hope it is a sign of more to come...Hamilton with a homer, etc

Ask Angel Oracle.

I called it, AO. LOL!

While Kendrick unilaterally blew this game for us, it is good to see something like Roth's performance.
-
Tell me you're okay with this garbage, EBof9?
I never said I was ok with it, but you are going to have a heart attack.
-
Angels threatening in the 8th. Watch them win it after AO's post. Lol

In that case, I'll play "It's About Time".

Who is this guy? Yeah, it is the Astros, but way to start in the big game!

Dipoto has assembled a starting staff of 4 fives and Weaver who is on the DL. If all the starters perform to their norm this is a 80-85 win team at best. The disappointments are everywhere. Wilson mostly. I expected about what we sre seeing from the other starters.
Absolutely right. Its amazing all of the bitching that went on when Dipoto signed these guys on the offseason. Now that he's reaping what he's sewn, the reality hits and fans here get amnesia all of the sudden.
Could this be THE turnaround game of the season?

Who would you rather spend you time with? Is it someone who is always down, even when they are winning?
