  1. Now that was vintage Pujols. Hopefully we see more of the same.
  2. Interesting, first post and you just joined this site minutes ago. I get the feeling that this is Earnest posting under a brand new screen name.
  3. It's comedy gold. Anyone who uses that phrase must be an Internet badass.
  4. You'll have to excuse Earnest. Some can't control their emotions after a loss. It's a little embarrassing but we are who we are I guess.
  5. Are you always this over sensitive or do you just get like that after a loss? I'm hardly a negative nancy but I'll sugarcoat Albert's shortcomings in the future so you don't get your panties in a bunch.
  6. That's what was said ad naseum last season but that doesn't change the fact that he was the worst hitter in baseball for about a month and a half. His numbers as a whole wasn't what Arte had in mind when he gave him that monstrous contract.
  7. It took Albert a month and a half to figure it out last year. Hard to blame you for wondering.
  8. Didn't say that he was the sole reason why we lost, but I don't think you can argue with the fact that he's been a disappointment.
  9. It was a play that should have been made. Pretty sure he'd even admit to that.
  10. AD is all about repeating the same lame jokes over and over again. I gave up on it halfway through the second season.
  11. Yes, worth watching. And you have to start from the beginning since there is always references made from the plot during that season.
  12. That's a smart cover, bumpy. The "some of my best friends are black" line doesn't fool anyone. Nice to see you didn't take the simplistic approach.
  13. Says the guy who listed The Cosby Show and The Fresh Prince (lolz) as two of the best comedies of all time, with the sole purpose of covering up his racist persona. Holla back.
  14. If you're not into it by now, you might as well give up.
  15. I just don't think it's funny... at least not by today's standards. If I want to watch an over-the-top comedy done right, I'll watch Community. There's no comparison between the two, IMo.
  16. I love Mad Men but I can see how it may not appeal to others. The plot can be slow to develop, especially in season one, but the writers do a better job of keeping things interesting as the series progresses.
  17. Jon Hamm won a Golden Globe for his performance on Mad Men. January Jones and Elizabeth Moss have both been nominated.
  18. Somehow I knew SOA would be a little too extreme, which is why I never gave it a shot. Good call on 30 Rock.
  19. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Revenge Arrested Development (apologies to Tobias)
