Funny. But the truth is actually worse. He knew and still stuck up for him. He knew why the security clearance was being held up and still included him in high profile activities. And it appears he might have seen photos and still tried to convince the guy not to resign.

No, I agree. In any other Administration, he'd be a goner. But things work a little differently in the Trump White House.

  2. Another day, another right-wing conspiracy theory pumped into the mainstream.

    http://thehill.com/policy/cybersecurity/372819-fbi-texts-referred-to-briefing-obama-on-russian-interference-not-clinton

Text messages exchanged between two FBI employees stating that then-President Obama wanted “to know everything” referred to the bureau's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, not a probe into Hillary Clinton’s email server, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) released a report Tuesday that included the exchange between FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI attorney Lisa Page, arguing that the texts raised questions about Obama's involvement in the investigation into Clinton's email use.

  3. This is nuts. The White House and a compliant right-wing media have successfully brainwashed their base with conspiracy theories.

Trump has called the probe a witch hunt and accused the top leadership of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Justice Department of being biased against him. The dispute has caused an extraordinary breach between the White House and law enforcement and deepened partisan rancor.

Some 73 percent of Republicans agreed that “members of the FBI and Department of Justice are working to delegitimize Trump through politically motivated investigations.”

Nearly 84 percent of Republicans said in a January 2015 Reuters/Ipsos poll that they had a “favorable” view of the FBI.

By the way, I fail to see how his post is political at all.

Yep, because we never go off topic here.

I seem to recall an ISIS thread morphing into an In-N-Out circle jerk.

Yeah, there's a lot of misinformation out there. This memo only raises concerns (legit ones) about FISA court abuses by the FBI/DOJ. Obviously that is a really bad thing but it has zero to do with the Mueller investigation.

He didn't do any oversight into the Mueller investigation but this is partly why they are where they are today.

Yes, the FBI meddled in the election.  But it was in favor of Trump.

The idea that the FBI acted favorably towards Hillary is yet another false narrative that's laughable on its face.

    And speaking of false narratives...

If they used the dossier to obtain the FISA warrant to spy on Trump, which is highly likely, the ensuing hearings will be must-watch tv.

"Highly likely," yet there was no evidence of this in the Nunes memo. You can bet it would have been in there if there was even a shred of evidence. The right-wing media is doing a superb job of misleading their viewers on this whole matter. Even casual viewers like yourself are being deceived.

Meanwhile, another false narrative goes down in flames.

GEORGE PAPADOPOULOS, NOT STEELE DOSSIER, TRIGGERED INVESTIGATION INTO TRUMP CAMPAIGN: NUNES MEMO

Dude knows how to play the game.

When the investigation is over, it won’t look like it was forcefully shut down.

Problem is your guy has tried to do everything in his power to end the investigation prematurely.

Ya so, that’s why Mueller is doing his work.  All this memo business is just Trump allies doing their best to obstruct his investigation.  I wonder why.

So are you able to explain why the memo has any significant meaning to Muellers investigation ?  OK the British guys dossier is BS.  I think that was well established a while ago.   The abuse of the FISA warrant is bad but it’s not the issue with the Mueller investigation.  Which is btw, all Trump and his gang care about.

    Lost in today's news...

    https://www.thedailybeast.com/wsj-strzok-and-page-texts-show-no-anti-trump-conspiracy

Since closeted Trumpers won't see or hear this from Pro-Trump media:

In a Wall Street Journal review of more than 7,000 text messages between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, the newspaper found “no evidence of a conspiracy against Mr. Trump.”

Also, strzok was the same guy who helped write the poorly worded letter that was sent to Congress 10 days before the election.

Blows the laughable conspiracy you've been parroting right out of the water.

Now now ITP... let's not resort to name calling.

CNN needs to show some actual proof or GTFO. This quote from the article cracked me up:

While Strzok was removed from the Mueller probe last year, he also was deeply involved in the Clinton investigation and sought to pursue it "aggressively," according to the source familiar with Strzok's thinking.

A source familiar with his thinking? LMAO!

I'll admit, that part is a bit shoddy. We'll have to see what else comes out.

Still zero evidence that he's a corrupt FBI agent, BTW.

CNN is in full deflection mode. It's really an awesome sight to see.

    Spoken like a Trumptard.

If true, and this does appear to be credible, it destroys the narrative you were gobbling up about him being a corrupt, overly bias FBI agent.

Because he’s either trolling or doesn’t understand statistical trends. African American unemployment rate has been trending down significantly since mid 2011. There has been no significant change in that trend since Trump took office.

I forget that conservatives probably wouldn't see that chart from their news outlets.

He's been using the black unemployment statistic to rile up his own base.
