It's good to see Cron and he's the best hitter on their team.

2 runs without hitting the ball very hard. Marquez is a good pitcher so they are going to have to take advantage of every opportunity until they can get to their bullpen.

The bad farm system can also be blamed for the bad bullpen in the recent years. Who is the best reliver they have developed recently....Bedrosian? Even though the starters look better I don't see anyone that can help the bullpen other than C-Rod if they choose to put him there. Hopefully some of the pitchers they drafted this year can help out but I doubt they will be ready to contribute next year.

Which failed miserably during his tenure. They would have been better off signing pitchers like Keuschel and Ryu.

Most people here want the Angels to sell. I say sell everyone minus Cobb. Trade Raisel and Heaney for whatever you can get back for them and redo the entire bullpen for next year.

Angels starting rotation is really carrying the team post all star break. And that's with Detmers throwing for 0 ER in 6 innings with 9 k 0 BB in his first AAA start.

I think the most impressive thing about Barria's start was his uptick in velocity and how he bounced back from his rough start.

Mayfield has been their best hitter since all star break. Kind of hard to believe considering he was hitless for pretty much his first 10 games.

Wrong he's striking out at at a good clip while walking 1 time in July. He's pretty much swinging at anything close and pitchers are realizing this.

Upton and Walsh are automatic outs right now.
