  1. Nice! I can't play defense because I can't skate very well. This is my second season playing, but I've got pretty good hands. I definitely need to work on my neutral zone play, LOL And yeah, we won! I almost got thrown out of the league though because I tried to start a fight lmao.
  2. And BTW, nothing personal against you Lifetime, but you have a hard time admitting your wrong. Even now you still can't admit you were wrong when you used to say Hatcher shouldn't be fired. Clearly he should've been fired as proven by the Angels recovering from that awful offensive start (under Hatchet) to being the best offensive team then on under Eppard. I expect you won't admit you're wrong on Butcher if Santana has a phenomenal year, and Vargas/Hanson/Blanton all tank. BTW, I'm very tired right now so I think I'm just going to stop arguing and typing up responses and I'll probably just go to bed right now. I'm going to the Ducks game tomorrow I'll be rocking my Ryan Getzlaf captain jersey who just signed an 8 year contract. I'm PUMPED. GO DUCKS. I'm expecting to see a couple goals from our newly signed captain. Hoping to see the Finnish Flash (Teemu) maybe get an autograph from the legend . Hoping Palms is back from his injury! P.S. You guys should've seen me tonight at my hockey game. Guess who scored two goals? This guy write here . Sweet dreams everyone! And dream of the Ducks winning another game!
  3. Ok, I'm not paying attention. I didn't know we were in 3rd grade English class. I'm paying perfect attention. All I see is you "loling" at other peoples posts, and just being a dick sometimes. Overall, you just seem angry and bitter a lot
  4. Honestly, I see you laughing at others posts a lot and just attacking posters with differing opinions. I don't see too much sound reasoning.
  5. I see a little double standard on this board though. I love this board (Chuck has done a great job), but I see that lifetime is allowed to make excuses for Scisocia in every thread he wants and never gets warned, banned, etc. My point is that as long as you're on that side of the fence...you're safe from being banned or whatever. Maybe I'm wrong IDK. Sorry if I've trolled in the past. I'm trying to be better about it. I have nothing personal against anyone on this board. Just want to make that clear. I like this place because it gives you a place to express your opinions with people who share something in common with you. I'm really trying to be better about not getting so angry after losses. I'm just very emotionally invested in this team, and I don't like seeing them lose. I hope we kick ass this year
  6. Christ, it's a baseball message board. Goodnight everyone.
  7. I agree. I have no clue why Xboom brought the Clippers into this thread
  8. Wow. How the **** did I hi-jack this thread? I posted that he'll probably be disappointed if he's expecting a breakout year from Kendrick, then Stradling wrote some condescending bullshit. If a "valued member" on this site wrote what I wrote no one would've cared.
  9. The Clippers finished 5th last year in the West. They'll probably finish 3rd this year. I wish Scioscia could've finished 5th in the AL last year (would've meant wild card), and I have serious doubts that he's going to finish 3rd in the AL this year. We'll see.
  10. I want VDN to be fired almost as bad as Sosh. I can stomach VDN more because unlike Sosh...He's been able to take his stacked roster to the playoffs the last two years. You see the difference?
  11. Yeah dude. I hate the Angels just because I don't like Mike Scioscia. You HAVE to like Mike Scioscia to be an Angels fan.
  12. Serious? I love the Angels as much as anyone. Only difference is that I don't like to make excuses for people not doing their jobs. Some people like to look at everything through rosy Angels red glasses...I get it. I like some accountability for players and coaches that aren't doing their jobs very well.
  13. I'm expecting more rally killing double play balls.
  14. I'm expecting to be disappointed..
  15. Iannetta has the best walk rate of any of the candidates and the most pop, but for some reason people want Callaspo (can't hit the ball to the gap) and Kendrick (has trouble making contact at times, and GIDPs a lot) and Bourjos (Just not a good option judging by his 2012 stats, and K rates) Iannetta may be slow, but he does two things that a #2 hitter should be able to do. Plate discipline and decent power. I think it should be between him and Aybar. If I had to rank it would go: Iannetta Aybar Callaspo Kendrick Bourjos
  16. Getzlaf has 29 points in 23 games. He is on a total tear of late.
  17. Wish you were here is one of the best songs ever IMO. Pink Floyd is phenomenal.
  18. If it comes down to choosing between Perry and Ryan. I pick Perry 10 times out of 10. I'd trade Bobby if it meant freeing up enough cash to lock Perry up for 8 years. Perry is a franchise winger; Bobby is not at this point
  19. Now that I think about it...As long as Kendrick isn't hitting second...I don't really care that much. Just please, for the love of God, don't waste our time with Kendrick getting another chance.
  20. Callaspo I don't like in the two hole. I don't like my number 2 hitter (one of the most important spots in the lineup) to have an OPS under .700. I'd like a guy with better pop than Callaspo too. This is why Iannetta gets my vote. He could crush hitting between Trout and Pujols.
