    So we're already down Skaggs and Heaney to injuries and set backs and now Richards. Good thing we traded Newcomb for a guy who hits like a pitcher

    Why are we doing the same exact thing with Choi as we did with Featherston last year. Probably cost us the playoffs keeping Tay Tay around. Why are we always so slow to learn from our past mistakes?

    We've done this pretty much over and over since signing Torii...almost every big acquisition since signing him has been a bust on some level.

    Yeah totally agree. I think everyone said that at the time, "Well this means we're going to go after it in FA" and we were all pretty baffled when we just signed has beens. Doesn't make sense.

    Well yeah..but now it's worse than shitty, whatever that is. With Richards looking more and more like a #2 at best, Newcomb would be very nice to have in AAA right now.

    Agreed but those are some pretty big holes (hehe). Also I think we need several pen arms and a #1 starter.

    Dude is going to hit .240 for us at best. Guys don't come to the Angels and get better offensively. He's basically a better Rey Ordonez and we gave up our future for it. Dumb.

    Just tuning in...the problem with being an average team at best is the nights when the bats show up the pitching won't and vice versa. We're finally starting to score more than 4 runs in a game yet our starting pitching decides to go in the toilet

    Agreed Gio is not the answer but I can't believe Pennington is the next best option.

    It's starting to sound like the group covering the Lakers where it's just a lot of losing but "hey we played pretty well tonight, we only lost by 8!" The mentality of organizations in disarray

    Losing sucks, but the worst part is we're just wasting Trout with the absolute garbage around him and zero hope for things to get any better in the next few years, likely worse. Trout has to be counting down the days until he can pick a team that is interested in competiting

    Yeah I'd just rather have someone with more speed as the late inning pinch runner (like Ortega). Guess it doesn't matter much since we never run anyways.
