    3-4 is a helluva lot better than 2-5. I can get on board with near .500 with the offense underachieving and 3 potential SPs hurt.

    No but I think everyone else in the lineup is a below average to average hitter at this point. That's why I'm not seeing much reason for hope.

    Also Scherzer, Jose Fernandez, Cole, Kluber, and Greinke have all been hit hard so far this year. It is possible to get a run or two against good pitching every once in a while. Going to have to figure out how to do it in the playoffs if you expect to be there.

    We have 1 HR and 0 SBs on the year. No power, no speed, and no interest in even attempting. Crazy awful offense.

    Pretty crazy how awful the entire offense has been except Calhoun and the Nava/Gentry platoon. LF looks to be the position of strength this year.

    I would like to see Simmons get his shit together in the field or my initial impression of him is going to sour very quickly

    I think 4.72 ERA is going to look like Pedro Martinez compared to Weaver, Shoe and Tropeano. Also Skaggs has only pitched half of one full year basically and had a 4.30 era and is throwing like 96 now. Can't wait to have him back.

    I'm thinking 3 out of every 5 nights is going to be similar to this until we get Skaggs hopefully back to form, maybe Wilson back, and Heaney back again.
