Fack these @#*&!@'n Losers
AvsBroncosAngels05 replied to Angel Oracle's topic in LA Angels | MLB Daily
Let it out man I'm right there with you. I used to wear my Angels gear proudly and now I never do. I've become embarrassed to be a fan of this team. I've found one thing that has helped though is I unfollowed all the non Angels related baseball pages on FB and Twitter I was following and that has reduced my agitation a lot. I think the constant ridiculing and mocking from dickbags like Ben Verlander and Jared Carrabis as well as mocking comments from fans of other teams really was a huge source of venom for me. I don't need to hear for the 50 millionth fucking time they're wasting Trout and Ohtani. I already know. Removing that and being on this board, aka therapy group, has been good to get through shitty season after shitty season. From 2016 on it just feels like one big pile of shit and all seasons have just been the fucking same. -
I know the Reds are a good up and coming team but my comment was an indictment on the rest of the team more than Schanuel being a rookie. If the Dodgers had a rookie 1B make an error in the 5th that cost them 3 runs they would have scored 5 the next half inning and would have won. The rest of the team just mailed it in after that error imo. Or I guess they just suck which is likely too. Pitiful.

Begging Angels fans to stay away from the Big A the rest of the goddamn year. These guys have quit so it's time for the fans to quit going. Make them play in front of a parking garage the rest of the year. I would assume everyone is used to staying away from the Big A in August and September so probably won't be a problem.

Never said that the injuries were Nevin's fault. Just that I could see Nevin going first before Perry in Arte's world.
-
Agreed I think if Arte fires him it will be an enormous mistake. Fingers crossed he stays. I would think Nevin would get axed before the chopping block gets to him. Before Eppler got fired Ausmus and Doug White both got canned in a huge statement by Arte. I'm hoping between that and the injuries Perry stays.

I really am hoping he doesn't get fired. IMO this failure is on the players on the field. Hoping he sticks around.

Well they responded the next 3 games exactly how everyone expected they would after Thursday night. This team was full of soft players that weren't up for the challenge and they folded like a house of cards. I don't live in CA so I'm cancelling my Extra Innings right now. No need to pay $35 the next 2 months to watch them play spoiler. No thanks. See you all in spring of 2024.

It's already there. I'll just let it wash. Was it a dumb comment I made in the heat of the moment realizing yet another September will be meaningless? Sure. I'll acknowledge that a blown save on August 3rd is not quite at the level of 1 out away from a World Series. If anyone wants to come at me over it then ok. But likely I will turn on the page on this season anyway after tonight. They're done. I do appreciate all of you on this board though. After looking through FB group one after another I'm happy I found this board. I may not be the most frequent poster but I feel this board is full of the most passionate and knowledgeable Angels fans around. Plus I like how a lot of fans tell it like it is and none of those "you're not a true fan" types. If this is indeed the end while we play out the string (and I think it is) it was a pleasure being on here for 2023. But I can't see any other scenario than them losing 3 of 4 or getting swept this series. It will be over then and then on to an ugly 2024 without Ohtani. Goodnight all.
