Any GM who signs with us from this point forward with Scioscia around, after what happened with him and Dipoto, will be a puppet who has zero mind of his own. Progressive GM's with an eye for talent like Dipoto wouldn't ever want to be apart of the toxic environment we call the Angels front office.

    Gordon and Heyward > Gordon and Cespedes imo. Heyward will also be cheaper (and he's younger). Heyward is also a lefty, helps the lefty/righty combo out better.

    Heyward is better defensively. A 1-5 of a legit leadoff hitter, Calhoun, Heyward, Trout and Pujols would be amazing though.

    His value is lower right now than ever before (which is crazy, considering he's going to end up finishing top 3 in MVP votings). That would be absolutely stupid to do, especially considering how much we're paying him vs his WAR.
