Same old bullpen with disaster written all over it. You forgot Bedrosian and Bauer will cost more than 20 mill if Artie would even do that. Last year everybody all in on Cole and this year will be Bauer. I think best chance for upgrade in a starter is a trade. Gausman would be nice low budget free agent.

Liam Hendriks is free agent, so is Blake Treinen. Buttrey was horrible second half last season. Mike Mayers has pitched well but bullpen has cost us a chance of playoffs.

You are right about the money but did halos still have money to spend this year? So Simba gone have 30 mill to spend do you put all eggs in 1 basket and go after Bauer? We need an ace. Could we trade for starter like a Lynn? We got Bundy last year for very little is it possible to find another pitching like that? Does Artie decide on Eppler right after season so new GM has chance getting in to do these things?

Losing Castro, Teheran, and Simmons was on books for 15 this and halos still had money to spend. Goodwin gone let some others go Robles and few others. They can find away with money if Artie wants too.

Walsh much better defensively than Thaiss. I just would like to use in house for 1B. OF Trout, Upton and RF be spot up for grabs. Maybe Adell takes or Ward. If Adell does not strat he may be in AAA to start season. I would have Ohtani as possible OF option as he played it in Japan. I would give Simmons QO and if he takes great if not Fletcher is SS. Key for me is Simmons if he stays most positions we have covered and use any money u have for pitching.

Could Walsh be the answer for 1B for now and the future? Another reason to sit Albert Pujols and give Walsh regular ABs.

Eastside beer my boss at store I worked at in 1970 that was his beer. He would drive to Joe Josts bar and grill in Long Beach because they had Eastside on tap. I can still see that ball going over the wall in LF. Hamlin hit maybe 4 or 5 HR in his career. I loved going to the Double Headers they had in those days. Buying peanuts outside the stadium for like 10 cents. They sold the newspaper that you could keep score on plus listed players. My mom would ride the Red Car to work. December 1960, my dad and I became fans. We moved out here in 1958 and my dad was big Cleveland fan. At age of 8 he taught me to hate the Dodgers. So with new AL team coming to LA where we lived at the time that became our team. Went to many games in Wrigley field in downtown LA the first year. I remember Angel players riding bikes from hotel to spring training in Palm Springs. 1962 my favorite halo team with a bunch cast offs and young players. July 4 that year in first place. I've been a fan from day 1.

Jo Adell has a lot to still learn but has shown improvement of late. He has so much raw talent and athletic ability. I like the look on his face when he just missed robbing George Springer of HR in second game playing CF. The look showed me he can play and belongs in big leagues. Eppler maybe gone after this year but halo fans will always be thankful he did not trade Mr. Adell.

Both are doing on the job training and I feel will be successful. Great this season they are getting starts in that will only help them down the road. Both have upside and are young and I feel will be part of rotation next year and beyond.

Bauer wants to start every 4th day so let him. Wants 1 year deal that's great also. So pitching him every 4th day you would really be getting great value for your money.
