  1. I’ve seen Ohtani’s BP numerous times. He stays in the box and continually hammers ball after ball to the deep RF stands in BP but when he faces real pitching he pulls his hip away and slap swings balls to left center. He’s extremely powerful so he gets away with hitting opposite field. If he could just stay in the box he could hit 45-50 home runs a season.
  2. Exactly. Farms are only as good as the players that are in them. Adell stays with the big club and their farm ranking drops. That’s how it works.
  3. Yankees won’t get fleeced, they have everything they need already and a decent farm.
  4. I understand that but in a worst case scenario it’s not easy to carry a guy that can only hit righties and is a project defensively.
  5. He’s all muscle and a beast physically. I watched him launch BP balls farther than anyone since Bonds.
  6. If it ends up that Ohtani experiences discomfort in his pitching arm next season and if he can’t figure out how to hit lefties his value is going to plummet to the point where he may not be worth keeping.
  7. I’m suggesting that if people were expecting to get a frontline pitcher or position player for Castro they’re enjoying their Sunday cocktails a little too much.
  8. Keep in mind that you’re witnessing a lot of sarcasm.
  9. Castro is still in the dugout apparently. Maybe they have everything on hold until the game is over because Fletcher got hurt.
  10. He will be. This pandemic season should be considered just a long spring training. Rendon, Adell, Canning and Bundy brought some sunshine to a cloudy season.
  11. Yankees are banking on Cole, Paxton, Severino, Montgomery and or a re-signed Tanaka with King or Garcia to fill the rotation. Frazier is proving his value of late and should’ve been snagged by someone in need already. With Stanton and Judge fighting injuries they kinda need him right now.
