Honestly I want Marte to play more since he's swinging a hot stick, but Pujols has played every game so far. At his age I'd like to see a little more rest so he's fresher come September-post season. If he plays 160 games I don't see how his body will hold up.

why? I agree he should be in there and it would be more exciting but I can't see how he's the only reason we watch. At the end we support the name on the front, the names on the back are there today but gone tomorrow.

no Ohtani... Cozart is hitting .222 in April, should have Marte at 3B and Ohtani at DH for this game.

no one will take him for $12M next season so we're stuck with him, he does bring good defense in a potential 4th outfield role. but we shouldn't sign a FA or make a trade for anyone beyond next year, our LF/CF is already big money and we have Adell/Marsh coming through in a 1-2 yr time frame. I like using Calhoun/Jahmai Jones in a time share with Jones also sharing some 2B reps w/ a resigned Kinsler if he plays well in A+/AA this year, just for a year or so since we need to leave a place in the OF open of future commitments b/c Adell/Marsh could be knocking on the door by middle '18ish. Or get a stopgap OF for a 1 yr contract at $5-6M that can split some PT with Kole.
