  1. Simmons leadoff Ohtani third Our best chance to score runs
  2. LOL this shift, if pujols hits it to the right we get a run, but he pulls a weak grounder...
  3. kinsler can't hit but he's a beast with the glove
  4. He's actually a Rangers guy, here's a vid of him and Gubi talking about Ohtani during the Rangers series.
  5. dude i'm trying to say we've haven't been inconsistent, we've won a lot of good games. besides the Red Sox/Yankees series we've been grinding results along quite consistently
  6. either team could have been 2 out of 3 wins those series, the way you would a expect a series against good teams to be. But we lost 6/6 games vs Sox/Yanks and we swept the really bad teams like the Orioles and Royals. We can't look back at our schedule and say we really dropped the ball like losing a series to the Orioles/Royals. I stand by what I said that our run of results has been relatively predictable. Sweep - really, really bad teams Get swept - two best teams Battle for 1 or 2 wins out of 3 - against other contending teams
  7. we've actually been pretty consistent, beat the bad teams, lose vs the good teams
  8. this game went lightning quick probably helped that we can't hit for shit!
  9. Our pitching staff is second in the AL in BBs allowed just behind the Chicago White Sox.
  10. Kinsler is Danny Espinosa 2.0 Can't hit, good defense
  11. Tearing up AAA Salt Lake is not worth it's weight in dog shit. Kaleb Cowart, Marc Krauss, Kyle Kubitza, Grant Green all tore up that place. AA Arkansas is the real test for hitters in this system. I don't believe Fletcher is better than Kinsler just like how I don't believe Blash is better than Calhoun. Anyways, SHOHEI TIME!
  12. just put shohei in there these hitters are brutal...
  13. AAA Salt Lake is a hitter's paradise. Guys like Grant Green and Kaleb Cowart tore that place up. AA is definitely a bigger test for hitters considering the league, level of talent, pitcher's park. Fletcher OPS'd .695 there last year, not exactly encouraging.
  14. yea, you are right. Eppler was hired Oct 2015. It was the previous regime for the 2015 trades. but the point is that most likely Kinsler has till the trade deadline, mid July'ish, to show that he's going to be the 2B down the stretch.
