  2. https://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/ny-angels-mike-trout-ohtani-great-start-20220511-ilxadfjefvb57oked6zl4q3qse-story.html Don't even know where to begin with this article, but the trolls are coming out! It took me a moment to realize that this author used to write for Lookout Landing.
  3. I know it's easy to rag on Arte for being cheap, but I don't think that's the case here. From an earlier article in the Athletic: According to a graphic circulating throughout the industry and verified by several sources, the only other TV broadcast team that may not travel is the Los Angeles Angels; that has not yet been determined and is dependent upon the scheduling of specific broadcasters’ needs, though they may travel part-time, sources said. On the radio side, the Orioles are one of only four broadcast teams not traveling to start the year, joining the Angels, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays. The Dodgers and Angels are not traveling due to broadcaster preference, sources said.
  4. Sure this sucks and he's had a terrible injury ridden year, but a lot of us are quick to forget how great Rendon was last year. Heck, MLB.com had him ranked as the #8 player in all of baseball back in April. Let's hope he's back to his normal self for 2022.
  5. There hasn't been an update in a while but it sounds like the nerve issue may keep him out for all of 2017 or we may see him in September, who knows... With that being said, Garrett's entering his last year of arbitration next year and will be a FA in 2019. I assume he's due at least 7-8 million next year. Will the Angels Non-Tender him? I know he's Trout's roommate and injuries happen, but what can we really expect from him moving forward?
