I wonder if Washington will make it to the end of the season with these musical chair line ups keeping the young guys from more abs?
Washington is on a 2-year deal and he'll be in his mid-70s at its end. If Moreno is in charge, Washington will complete that contract.

Tucker booted McCutchen's grounder. This is his 3rd game starting at third base this year. He'd never played there in the majors before this--and had only played there in three games in the minors.
Perhaps my memory is faulty, but you can say that about many Angels infielders over the past decade or so.

GO ANGELS!!!!
DON'T GET SWEPT IN STEELTOWN!!!!
12-23 after 35 games. Last place exclusively belongs to the Angels. 127 games to play until Angels offseason.

He gave up 9 baserunners in 6 1/3 IP. Yay?
You don't blame Anderson for the A-League batting order.

Another quick game. An hour and 56 minutes. I appreciate the recent efficiency with the which the Angels have completed their losses. Nice work, fellas.
Quick games in the East are nice. You're not stuck missing season finale shows.

Keller is good, but not complete game; 1 run good…
He was tonight.

A decent offense could have been in front by a run or two. The Angels do not seem to possess such an offense. So the Pirates' one grand slam looks like enough to win.,

Cy Keller on his A game! Good to see!
Keller is a guy who actually has an A game.

GO ANGELS!!!
STEAL A SERIES FROM THE PIRATES!!
They've been playing almost as poorly as the Angels.
12-22 after 34 games. 128 games remaining until Angels' offseason.
Get well quickly, Luis.

You can pin another Angels series loss on the board! They have now lost every series except for the sweep of the Marlins.
Remember the good old Scioscia days? Until the talent pool dried up, the Angels could win most series.
This team is reminiscent of (I think) 1975 when Bobby Bonds led the team with 12 home runs, except there is no Ryan or Tanana to reliably interrupt the losing streaks.

Magic ain't no Moore for Mike.

GO ANGELS!!!
TAKE THE SERIES TODAY!!!!
(It would be the second series win of 2024 for the Angels.)
12-21 after 33 games. 129 games left until Angels offseason.

129 games to play until offseason.

Suarez survives Rengifo's boo-boo. 2 extra hitters did not dent the lead.
-
Soriano is looking ace-like tonight. He's probably done for the game. Hope the pen stands firm.
-
Soriano escapes!!! Still 6-0 Angels.
-
The flip side of hitting homers in most of their games is the Angels have only won 11 of the first 31.

This Angels team is the new pre-retirement waystation for scuffling (cheap) journeymen who can be an example to the young whiz kids. An example of what, Wayne?
