wow, seriously? i'll have to find a highlight, a team we played in high school did this (buena park i think), the catcher ducked and let a fastball nail the ump right in the chest. dirtiest thing i saw in high school sports.
don't know much about the process or the site, but isn't this like knocking on your neighbor's door and saying his plot of land would be a perfect place to build your dream house? i guess they are banking on the community college district playing ball since they are a public institution, but doesn't seem like a given that this will move forward..

i don't know, with all the stats and advanced analytics in the game today, the guy could easily just be looking at real-time updated info that is being displayed through his watch. i'm kinda shocked it isn't already more common.
