I think the fact that he was smiling was a good sign. If you know you're hurt, you're probably not smiling at that point... but who knows. I think a lot of the tests were related to concussion protocol. -

I don't really get the point of releasing Upton if it's to have Adell be in a platoon. At some point you just have to go for it. Give him a legitimate chance and allow him to build up his confidence.
