    I hate to say this, but I always felt we needed to somehow grab a starter at the deadline. If Shoemaker's injury lingers this could be horrible.

    I really had hoped we would have stretched out Rasmus when we still had that option. I know it's important to have a long man in the playoffs, but seems more important to have a strong option to start games.

    We need to keep rolling here heading into the playoffs. I don't think it would be good to flounder heading into the ALDS.

    I worry about Jepsen and Grilli going into the postseason. Hopefully they can get in some clean performances in the end of the season.

    Haven't seen too many better considering the situation and time of the game. Scoreless game, bases loaded and 0-2 count with 2 outs. After fouling off a handful of pretty strong offerings from Iwakuma, puts it down the LF line for a bases clearing double. Pretty nice and seemed like it crushed the Mariners.

    Hamilton in the 7 spot? That's funny. I don't agree and doing so would have such a negative impact mentally on Hamilton. Watched some of his BP today and he was swing strong and freely. The 5 hole would be a better idea.
