I'm with you. I'm not a fan of the 1-game wildcard game. I feel that it leaves too much to luck and chance. Baseball can be a weird game at times. I don't see them changing it to a 3-game playoff series because of TV scheduling, but I think it would be better. I don't think I could stomach them losing that wildcard game.

The same usually happens for me, but this year our spring break is in the middle of April.

Something I always try to do on opening day is watch the first episode of Ken Burns's Baseball documentary. It's so good and that first episode just sets the mood for the day.
