Ahahahaha, so we're playing inferior defenders to Cowgill in 2 OF spots just so we can get Ibanez's bat in the lineup...which is also far worse than Cowgill's.

If he has Thoracic Spondylsis, he'll never be the same. nothing well help long term. I'm sure he'll try for a few years to play through it, but eventually will have to hang it up at an early age. Spondylosis is a lot more difficult to treat in the center of the back, than the lower portion.

Degenerative conditions normally seen in people over 40 are definitely my first guess when a 22 year old has a sore back.

So what level of white-flagging is leaving Ibanez in against a lefty?  

Every single game we've got people here who bitch that C.J. isn't comfortable with Iannetta with no basis in reality.  Yeah tonight sucked, but this season he has been significantly better with Iannetta behind the plate coming into this game.  

This is on a night where our bullpen is short as well.  Looks like we say farewell to Green or Cron after this game to bring someone up.

Yeah, as temporary as it may be knowing his history, Jepsen doesn't really deserve hate at the moment.  He's got a 1.10 WHIP, which is 4th best on the team.  

In fact, since his last rough outing on May 4th, he hasn't given up a hit.

Yeah... that slide was a bit reminiscent of the one Hamilton broke his arm on a couple years ago.  Not the kind of thing you want to see from your best player.
