The angels are super bipolar this season. They look damn near flawless in games won. But when they've lost games they look like a AA team unravelling in every aspect. When I see them play like Saturday I become incredibly optimistic, yet they'll completely break-down the very next day. Stop playing with my emotions you bastards
Yeah, seems like so far we're either losing by 5+ runs or winning by 5+ runs, and nothing in between,
-
So we should expect Calhoun to be benched tomorrow.
-
Albert Pujols
-
It's also inevitable that Trumbo will go into an extended slump pretty soon.
-
How the heck do you pronounce that guy's name? There's like 7 straight consonants. Svrlglga?
-
I'm probably going out on a limb here, but I think there's a fair chance we win this game.
-
Not that Santiago was pitching well, but Weaver was left out to dry when it was clear he was done after the 6th inning.
-
What's the point of having coaches if they're not accountable for anything? Seems like a waste of payroll if the players are responsible for motivating themselves.

Well I'll be damned. Grandpa actually contributed something.

What are the odds Hamilton doesn't score?
167%

I don't think it will be too long before the straight platoon happens at catcher.
I hope not, Conger can't hit his way out of a paper bag. Until we get a quality backup Ianetta deserves a long leash.
-
Jepsen and Ibanez should probably both be off the roster by the end of the month. They won't, but they should.

Man, this season is going to be awesome. One game in and we've already had:
1. A complete bullpen meltdown
2. Lazy defense
3. Poor management by Scioscia
4. Offense that mails it in after the 4th inning
-
Same @#$% different year. The bullpen is still utter garbage, the offense still goes into a coma after the 4th inning, and back end of the rotation is still a big question mark. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
-
Typical. A one run lead may as well be 7.
-
Bringing in a lefty to face a lefty? You can do that?
-
Does anyone actually think we can make up this one-run deficit in 3 innings?

Right before Rollins hit it out I was thinking how nice it would be if he hit a grand slam.
-
Hopefully it's 10 years.
Is it time to move Albert Pujols down in the lineup?

Except it's not a sample size of 7 games, it's a sample size of 2 years and 7 games. Nobody would be batting an eye if Pujols had put up even respectable numbers last year, just like no one flips out if Trout has a couple of 0-4 games.
