  1. I'm not sure when exactly how it happened but if yo look at his game logs you see he has a large drop off after May last season. He was on such a tear at the beginning people were forced to try and walk him. http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/gamelog/_/id/4652/year/2012/josh-hamilton I remember watching our games last season and our commentators always mentioning how he swings too much and needs to stop. It just became more and more noticable as the year went on.
  2. There you go, he sucked just like he is now which is exactly what I said.
  3. Ha did you not watch him down the stretch last year? He was on absolute fire in the beginning of the year when pitchers were throwing to him.
  4. He's always swung at the ball like this. Just lolly gags at the plate rocking back and forth doing his crazy effective effortless swing. Then one accidentally lands in the zone and he'll blast it. It was jaw dropping watching him swing at some of the worst pitches I've ever seen over the last half of last season. As everybody is pondering whether or not this dude cares; one day he is going to hit a dribbler then break something sliding head first into first base in a meaningless game. You'll be left scratching your head. I hope the Marlins are stupid enough to trade the Rangers Stanton.
  5. One of the reasons we were booing him towards the end of last season.
  6. Cowboys had a very good value draft outside of the first round, but I was OK with them reaching a bit to get the center they wanted after everybody else was taken. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/tracker?icampaign=Draft_Live_HP_Draft_tracker_prior&module=HP11_traffic_driver#dt-tabs:dt-by-team/dt-by-team-input:dal Later rounds we did really well. Joseph Randle, Terrance Williams, and Holloman were really good picks. Garrett said they plan on running two TE sets similar to the Patriots with Escobar/Witten.
  7. Plenty of corners deeper in the draft. I could see them snag Tavon.
  8. I agree. Plantar fasciitis sucks and it will linger for a long time, I've had it before and his looks pretty bad. He just needs to get healthy and get Trumbo off first base.
  9. Cowboys People I want who potentially could be there at 18. I want Sheldon Richardson, Sylvester Williams, Chance Warmack, Jonathan Cooper, DJ Fluker, or Kenny Vaccaro. If they aren't available then I would prefer a trade down. Can't rule out Jerry wanting to trade up though. We make some sort of trade like 85% of the time whether it be in the first round or later.
  10. I was definitely not at the game but it doesn't take rocket science to narrow down what happened there. Josh Hamilton was playing in right field. (Ranger fans in right field) + (Josh Hamilton in right field) = Ranger fans ejected
  11. Yu's da man, and this is his jam. At 3:04, pure entertainment.
  12. Josh is known for sliding head first into first base in the worst possible scenarios, so get used to it. Just wait until he injures himself again sliding head first and you wont like it so much. It's an 11-0 game and he slid head first into first base; you don't want one of your highest paid players doing that. I always liked that kind of hustle from him and all, but sometimes it's just not that smart. It's only April and Pujols is already playing on one leg.
  13. Have y'all ever heard the CJ Wilson douche montage?
  14. Is the bullpen really that great when healthy? The Rangers are still missing Feliz, Soria, and Lindblom and the pen is just fine.
  15. Haha they were never going to leave Arlington completely.
  16. I think it's more mismanagement of money than leadership. Josh is a nice luxury to have but when your pitching can't even hold down a lead with one of the better lineups in baseball then obviously you should be investing in another area. Torii is beasting this year in his cushy spot up in Detroit and is a fraction of what Josh costs. The Angels offense was more than fine without Hamilton. Now your going to have Pujols and Hambone tying the organization down for the next 10 years or whatever it is. Kind of like the massive contract we gave A-Rod back in the day. Or like the awful contracts the Mets gave out in the 2000's. The Mets farm is just now recovering from that horrible management.
  17. You probably know more about Foles than I do. If he looks like the guy you want to ride into the future with, then I guess they should start him. Or they could hold the fort down with Vick and develop him behind closed doors.
  18. I think Vick should be the starter in Philly, but he is obviously not the long term solution. There really isn't anything about Foles that I see can break a game open, so nothing to really fear. Vick at least has at least shown he can be a game breaker.
  19. Obviously not that desperate or they would have spent the $123 mil they gave Josh on the bullpen.
  20. One thing we all know about the East is every team will end up competing somehow.
  21. Beltre is consistently the best offensive player, and Josh was the best when hot. CJ is just CJ lol, not really missing that guy.
