ghoetke got a reaction from jimbo in Beginning to think we m/b good next year
If we can get all of our starting pitching back healthy , not including CJ, and pick up another solid reliever, we have the makings of a contender with rest of the group we have, imo. What say you ??

ghoetke got a reaction from Doug Van Oort Sr in Team has no pulse
It starts with Sosh IMO. He just sits there and stares in bewilderment hoping someone is paying attention to his hand signs. And by the dugout shots, Pujols seems to think it's funny. Arte must have a lot of patience watching this pathetic, listless team. Anyone else feel the same ??

ghoetke got a reaction from Angel Oracle in Trout seems befuddled
Trout strikes outs are mounting again and perhaps for the first time he seems to lack confidence. His RBI production isn't bad for hitting in the # 2 position but is heavily dependent on home runs. He hasn't hit one in about 100 AB's.Trout's obviously a great talent and teammate but the comparisons to Mays and Mantle are way premature, IMO.

ghoetke got a reaction from Lhalo in Halos and MLB post game celebrations are bush league
Getting very bored by the acrobatics, gator aid showers, and thrown objects. They're so full of themselves. A sign of the times I suppose.

ghoetke got a reaction from moccasin in The real value of CJ
The thing he's best at is dumping the post-game gatorade on the Halo hero. Spectacular technique in avoiding getting caught in the act. Certainly worth $15 Millon per year, maybe even more.

ghoetke got a reaction from Vegas Halo Fan in Trout is a shell of himself right now
Trout always takes the first pitch now. Why? Is this what Baylor and Scoiscia want. The opposing pitchers simply throw the first pitch to Trout right down the middle for the called strike. That leaves him only two strikes to work with and the pitchers in are in control. Something's wrong right now. He's good for 2-3 strikeouts every game. At that clip, he will be close to 200 K's by the end of the season.
Not want you want from any hitter especially one batting second in the order.

ghoetke got a reaction from WestistheBest in Josh's head first slide at lst in blow-out loss is telling
He's no friggin' prima donna like A-rod is. He seems like he's got it going now and the power we've been waiting for should be here soon.
