Josh's head first slide at lst in blow-out loss is telling

Recommended Posts

It just shows that he is too dumb to know that you actually get to first faster running through the base.

Not always, especially if you're racing the pitcher, it can be a harder call to make. Nothing wrong with that slide, except it was some wasted fun. I agree with the original poster, despite Hamilton's non-existent power, he showing signs of being Hamilton again. He seems more confident. We'll see

Josh is known for sliding head first into first base in the worst possible scenarios, so get used to it.  Just wait until he injures himself again sliding head first and you wont like it so much.  It's an 11-0 game and he slid head first into first base; you don't want one of your highest paid players doing that.  I always liked that kind of hustle from him and all, but sometimes it's just not that smart.  It's only April and Pujols is already playing on one leg.
