The fans who are "pushing" for the silent treatment probably don't even have tickets for the game. You will not be able to hear the few cheers he will get when he comes out on the field for intros to start. You will have a few stand and cheer, but you will only see them standing. Not a chance you will hear them. CJ did get some respect when he came to town last year. Don't expect the same for Josh. I have only booed 2 players in my life. Teixeira and Aroid. The game was in Surprise Arizona, not The Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. In spring training, you get a mixture of fans, plus Rangers fans do appreciate a good long home run. I never boo one. Thank you Chuck. Regarding the Trout situation, when was the last time a rookie got a substantial raise? Was it Jeter? It just is not done. It is a way for the teams to save some money because the players go for the big bucks later on. At least the first couple of years the teams are protected. And I am glad to see that Trout is not complaining, just his agent. He needs to reel his agent in. Gonna make him look bad.
